There, there dear, I know it's confusing when people don't fit into your "left/right" dichotomy. Here's a hint... real people, people who consider issues on their merits, rarely fit into your narrow pigeon-hole definitions.

Well here, take a look at this, then decide...

Just another voice of reason, on most issues.

Yet you flame me for having an opinion on someone you readily admit you know so little about?

Hitchens was wrong about the war in Iraq - he thought it would be over in a short time.

Funny, I recall a US defence secretary Rumsfeld echoing these same sentiments to appease a restless nation.
Any war with Iraq would be swift and not require a full US mobilisation,

This was well organised through the UN and US, and a number of other nations officials, internationalists... all of which arrived with their elite team of war-time propagandists.

Hitchens was one of them. Sorry!

There is always two (often more) sides to a story...

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2011/05/1 ... r-Hitchens

He was the UN's and US's leading wartime propagandist, and so they took care of him right to the very end.

We are seeing some of this now.

Most journalists would have endured the wrath of the Jewry by this stage, had he not been one himself this is.

And who else could get away with this...

George Orwell certainly didn't, he was dead within 12 months of completing 1984.

http://www.smh.com.au/world/christopher ... 1ozqq.html

He was an articulate and convincing weapon of mass-propaganda and delusion, so probably best you delve into some of his more hypocritical works than buy his post-mortem UN endorsed autobiography, spooled for the purpose of brainwashing idiots who are incapable of determining the facts for themselves, objectively.

Dont be fooled into thinking this red pig is the next George Orwell.

He was far from it.

His war-cry on Libya ...

His memoir, Hitch-22, was published in June 2010. ... Hitchens has written of his homosexual experiences when in boarding school in this memoir.

Sound familiar?

It's apparent that I'm not alone in my views regarding Hitchens.
It only took me an hour to sum this toxic pink-puffer fish up.

Guys, the world has enough haters, will he really be missed?

To close...

Such a waste, a talented successful writer gone as bad as they go.

With a gift like that should come a burning desire to want to set the record straight, tell the truth, leave some sort of meaningful impression on our misguided shit-fed masses.
And so cancer ate his throat out instead.

Something had to.

Ps- He knew he did the wrong thing re- war propaganda, right up until he died, and burdened with guilt he was trying to justify why he wrote what he did long after we'd all moved on from Iraq.

But he never did.
