Hinch, not just a hairy face

Yes I did follow the court case, re- bolt's racial discrimination case, this and I defended him to the hilt, still do.
This is why I had hoped Bolt continued his stance, though he's backed off.

See, Hinch wouldn't back down whereas Bolt had his "Bolt Report" to consider, so probably thought better of it and decided to cut his losses.

But Hinch didn't just stop there....he was relentless, and it's this burning passion that either makes or breaks them in this industry, sets them apart, perhaps Bolt likes to play it safe.

But that's Bolts choice.
He shouldn't condemn others for theirs, particularly when in principle, they are both fighting the same cause.

I like Bolt but loathe Hinch. Probably the beard. I met a lot of these people way back. They didn't impress me then (at the Journos Club in Sydney) and they still don't. A bunch of boozing, loud-mouthed ignoramuses. I remember shopping in Gordon, (North Shore - Sydney) and met Jacki Weaver who was his wife at the time. She is tiny, just 5 ft I imagine as I towered over her and she had lots and lots of wrinkles I recall ......

True, good point, but this said, Hinch has accomplished things that Bolt hasn't had the balls to follow through.
Bolt often stops just short of going too far...and or making a lasting impression where it matters most.

I think in part this might have to do with him toying with the possibility of a future in politics--- (Just a hunch)
This said, Bolt needs to maintain a tidy appearance. Not be seen to be too extreme if he's planning a future in conservative politics.

Perhaps when Hinch was diagnosed with liver cancer he thought, what the heck, it's now or never and this is what spurred him on to go the extra mile, coupled with him not having kids to worry about death threats etc, you tend to tread more carefully/conservatively when there's more than yourself to think about.

Either way, I like Hinch and Bolt for different reasons, both have their good and bad points.

Maybe, just maybe Hannibal would do what he did to Ray Liotta & serve up Hinch his own brains, but when he popped his scone all he found was a vacuum
