News in brief
The deal is, you have to sum up the daily spread (Australian Political News only) in a single sentence without so much as taking a breath, comically or otherwise.
You may provide a caption or image if you wish.
Enjoy!

State and Federal governments allow foreign mining corporations to buy all of Australia and turn the nation into a giant quarry in order to destroy our food bowls and contaminate our water resources permanently as it's cheaper to import our food from Taiwan and our water from China than to grow our own.

Sadly Mantra, that's not one of those stories we can laugh about, it's happening ... heres a challenge for anyone willing to rummage through their frozen section at their supermarket.
No frozen Australian vegetables or fish.
The best you will get is just two brands from New Zealand. If you are lucky!
Disgraceful.

Re: News in brief
Here's a funny news site worth a quick read.
http://www.digitaldreamdoor.com/pages/q ... _news.htmlCar Phone
A woman was reporting her car as stolen, and mentioned
that there was a car phone in it. The policeman taking
the report called the phone and told the guy that answered
that he had read the ad in the newspaper and wanted to buy
the car. They arranged to meet, and the thief was arrested.
