And for that comment you have won ........this :du

Now, looking at the facts, under Howard Australia was the envy of the western world.
Foresaw the potential GFC and had insulated itself from it when it supposedly did arrive.
Australia had achieved its' best ever set of economic indicators.
And that covers, interest rates, employment, cpi, wages, BoP, GDP, GNP, FX & housing. BEST EVER in Australia's history.

Yeah the ALP are cleaning up a mess :rofl :rofl :rofl
But since Rudd and then Gillard took over Australia has been going down the gurgler....and there is worse to come thanks to Gillard.
I see that you are quite foreign to the aspect of thought, but try it instead of gossiping amongst mental dwarfs and sitting around having cuppas and tim tams all day long

I've just realised that you three are actually genuinely crazy. I've never really taken any notice of anything you've posted before but now I've had a look back at some your input and seriously, you need to get some help. Maybe you are caught up in some kind of mob mentality thing but whatever the reason you are suffering a kind of delusional paranoid psychosis.

Good luck with your treatment.

No. Quite the opposite, in fact. There is more political "opinion as news" than ever before.

Although there were a lot of negative headlines when the Howard government was in power, at least there was plenty of information out there so we could roughly follow the Coalition's movements. In the last few months - an article might appear briefly, then it's gone or there isn't any follow up to the story.

This government has been talking about censorship for a long time. Has it finally been fully implemented so we can't complain about them?

Yes the lack of political comment is due to Brown and Gillard complaining about the media highlighlighting the government's stupidity campaign.
So some main stream media have decided to shelve the government issues. Sure they will report on them but barely else the GALP will impose media restrictive legislation.
Funny how the GALP weren't complaining when the media gave them the red carpet treatment for no reason though isn't it, even when their policies caused hundreds of deaths, destroyed property and wasted money. Gee why would you report favourably on such bumbling government policies.

Which alternate reality are you from, bart? The media have been on the ALPs case, pretty much since they got into office, and they havn't stopped.

Perhaps even you have tuned out to the hysteria though?

Ummmmm noooooo
The first 24months of the Rudd govt the media seldom criticised Rudd.
Even with the hundreds of deaths and cost blow outs from the ALP the media still treated Rudd with kid gloves.
Then under Gillard, the media played soft still due to Gillard being a female.

But ONLY in the last 12 months have the media put the ALP and Greens under scrutiny, especially on the crap Global Warming scam, and the GALP don't like it being scrutinised and have complained.

Notice that the GALP didn't complain earlier when they were "allowed" to get away literally with murder.
Very little has been highlighted about the lack of completion of the so-called BER, some has been mentioned on the rorts and cost blow outs but no media has demanded the accountability of the government for the BER, nor the NBN (white elephant).
The ABC have only NOW started to realise the Flannery bullshit and have questioned him.
And the ABC is the GALP's media agent.
