He and Grubshott should get on nicely.

Jenkins was born in Melbourne. His father was Dr Harry Jenkins, who was Member for Scullin from 1969 to 1986 and Speaker of the House of Representatives from 1983 to 1986. Jenkins Jnr was educated at the Australian National University and was a public servant before entering politics. He succeeded his father in the seat of Scullin in 1986.

Introducing Mr Sleeper
Peter Slipper is better known for his enthusiastic use of his expense account than for his political achievements.
HE'S considered by political watchers to be tricky as a ferret and slick as a weasel - except when he needed to make a quick getaway from a Parliament House lavatory some years ago. Now, ''Slippery Pete'' Slipper will be forever known among Liberals and Nationals as a rat.
Continues....

The hate campaign has started on Slipper. I wonder how long he'll last. It's reminiscent of the campaign waged against whatshisname in the Labor Party - the one who spent hundreds of thousands of dollars of union member's fees on prostitutes.
I can't see Slipper lasting there long, although Gillard is full of surprises and can play a cunning game. It might be harder to get rid of her than first thought.

Mantra, he's always been hated, this and notoriously 'slippery'.
Got to Love the quick getaway from a Parliament House lavatory, some years back.
I might start calling him Slippery Jack.
