What else have WHO got wrong?

Post by mellie » Wed Oct 26, 2011 1:59 pm

In the largest ever study regarding the cancer risk association with cell phone use, Danish researchers found that there is no additional risk of cancer. In the study, researchers took results from over 350,000 people and published the report on Friday of last week. Over the years, as cell phone use increased, studies were popping up in the news and medical journals warning that cell phone use could lead to a higher cancer risk. This study has results from the largest group ever study on the topic and the results are saying opposite.

The results were released to the British Medical Journal website and look quite familiar to those from other studies. Scientists at the Institute of Cancer Epidemiology took a large group of people, above the age of 30 and with mobile phone contracts, and compared the rate of brain tumor with non-subscribers from 1990 to 2007. With the study group being so large, many outside experts were keeping close tabs on the results and have made comments on the impressive trial group that was researched. The director of Medical Physics at Britain’s Royal Berkshire Hospital said, “This paper supports most other reports which do not find any detrimental effects of phone use under normal exposures.”

Only this year the World Health Organizations International Agency for Research on Cancer made the conclusion that cell phone use be put into the same category as lead, chloroform and coffee saying that it could “possibly carcinogenic to humans.” Shortly after that, other reports started coming in saying the exact opposite when it came to any link between cancerous brain tumors and cell phone use. Another statement from the Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection’s committee on epidemiology also pointed out there was little to no link between cancer and cell phone use.

Continues.....

Two of the most extreme examples of mass exposure to ionizing radiation were the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan, yet according to both UN and WHO estimates, Japan has the longest life expectancy of any country in the world.

Does this sound a little bit odd to you?

Is it possible that moderate dose-rates re- ionizing radiation actually increases longevity?

Radio waves simply cannot produce ionizing radiation, though there have been promising studies into whether or not non-ionizing radiation (like that from your mobile phone, microwave, radio etc) may in fact be used to treat some types of inoperable cancers, without the ghastly side-effects of harsher ionized Radiation.

Like they say, what doesn't kill you can only make you stronger.

Also, sound progress has been made with 'selenium' in France.

So why would WHO be generating mobile-phone fear (re-brain tumors) in light of their knowing of a study which suggests otherwise 4 years earlier?

Lets call it Global fearing, this opposed to Global Warming.

A world government is just as vulnerable to error (intentional or otherwise) as a World Health Organisation.

Something for our globalist idealists to think about, because they get cancer too...just ask Steve Jobs....no on second thoughts, perhaps not.

Do socialists deem mobile phones the height of capitalism?

The reds new Capitalist Manifesto/Constructive Capitalist packaging is communism re-badged.

Do you know the real difference between socialism and capitalism?

NBN-co is a perfect example of socialist policy creeping in the back door, exercising their right to make choices for you , and without you even knowing this is their intention.

Refer to NBN co's 15 years of silence.
