Has it occurred to you that Gillard has noone other than herself and ALP's king-makers to blame for having not out-performed the predecessor she toppled?

Lets face it Skip, her failings as PM aside, she's performed dismally, and whether you want to admit this to yourself or continue blaming Abbott, the press, and anyone else who springs to mind, the horse just didn't get up.

The carnival is over, the spectators have gone home, but Gillards still running a 3-legged horse race round the track by herself, and whats worse, she's defiant, knows exactly how Australians and even her own party feels about her though doesn't particularly care.

I have only ever known one person like her, and this person was a sociopath.

What do I dislike the most about Gillard?

Her falseness and blatant disregard for those such as yourself who really had faith in her, this and didn't think she'd amount to what she has, possibly Australia's most disliked PM we've ever endured.

Because normally when the public expresses this much contempt for a leader, the party either deals with it themselves, (new leadership) or rarely, a GG steps in as a last resort.

She toppled Rudd on the basis of the following...

-The party had lost it's way
-Rudd was performing badly in the polls
-being an ineffective (She claimed he had no sense of purpose)
-His over-compensatory personality made him abrasive, appear smug, conceited, overly self assured, arrogant.
-His complex often irritable moods probably irritated colleagues.
-He failed to meet his objective, ETS & or a republic.

Now go through the above list and tell me which of the above doesn't apply to Gillard herself.

At least Rudd knew when to call it quits, Gillards quite pathological...indifferent to what her nation thinks of her, doesn't appear to care.

She has made it clear, "I will go when I'm good and ready" and theres nothing we can do about it , well, to her way of thinking anyway.


She's wrong, she'll end up a cot-case by the end of it.

And as for your claim a hate campaign worked a real treat, (was the ruination of Gillard) Skip, this is what politicians and the media do OK, they tear one another to threads, as can be demonstrated by her attempting to do the exact same thing to Howard, by her own admission.

Politics is a blood sport, and if you aren't prepared to cop it on the chin, this and cant cope with the splatter, this or feel you need to change media laws to "shelter" yourself from those nasty wasty big bad meanies, then you have to ask yourself, is this really the job for you?

At least Howard had a valid reason to be concerned, re- Bali and 9/11...along with Australians training, and being caught red-handed with explosives, and or trying to break into military barracks etc.

You don't know half of it, because for every 5 home-based plot interceptions, the media only learned of one or two...at best. Many weren't even Muslims, just freaking loons.
