Mel - this forum doesn't have to be the way it has been in the past. There were only a few abusive people here and some of them have gone now. That's an improvement for a start.

At times I have seen some incredibly interesting political comments from members such as Frogen and Cynic (who you don't know) and it's possible that this place can eventually lift itself out of the doldrums and become vibrant again. The problem has always been this Constitution which interrupts the flow and always results in divisiveness and hatred amongst the members.

I'll probably get some flack for this comment - but there is something different about DT's writing style. I can't specifically describe it - because I haven't posted there for a few weeks and the change is subtle.

Just observe this forum and DT's for a little while and see which one starts to improve. You have the choice of posting here or over on PAA if you want to. You'll get used to the personalities eventually and understand that most of them are harmless.

I also heard DT did have the forum on the market and perhaps there is a new owner!!

To my knowledge, no one has bought Deepy's forum. That's the real Deepy posting over there, as always.

Sometimes he has technical problems with his software, sometimes his forum is extra slow when loading a page. That would be his server, actually. Then it speeds up again.

There is nothing weird or out of the ordinary going on over at Deepy's. Continue to read his gardening and farming thread. Of course that is the real Deepy.
