Remember remember the 5th of November

Post by mellie » Thu Oct 06, 2011 10:17 am

No wonder both sides of parliament have been rather quiet about their next salary increase.

Julia received a 160% salary increase, and Tony Abbott an 85% salary increase also less than a year ago on November 5th 2010.

Wow, we Australians sure are stupid, or just naive?

8-)

When was the last time your salary tripled then doubled again within a year of each other?

I happen to be one of those strange people that think the PM along with other politicians should be paid more than an average football coach.
Manly football coach,Des Hasler has been offered 700 grand a year to coach the Bulldogs, over three times more than the PM gets.

You must be a little soft on the brain Skip learn to math.... :bgrin

If Gillard already received her 160% pay rise last November 5, this and is about to have it doubled... yet our media advise her annual salary will be an estimated $330,000,... go figure.

100% + 160% = 260%

Divide this by $330,000

= $126 923.077

Our Gillard and her disclaimer tribunal are trying to hood wink us... ha ha ha implying she was earning a $126k salary when she commenced duties last August.

8-) They really think we are dense, no thanks to people like you who make it worth their while.
:clap

NEWS FLASH------THEY LIE!!

Yu dig Skip?

................................................... :bike

Actually, make that a starting wage of $103k...as I didn't include the role over of the last deduction.

Gillard expects us to believe she was on $103k when she took office last election.
