I happen to agree with deleting offensive guest posts. It's annoying enough when members make offensive comments - what's the point of allowing additional anonymous abuse? It adds no value.

DT - you've deleted quite a few posts made by guests that you consider spam - perhaps Plough feels the same way about abusive posts - especially those made by gutless wonders who won't register or use their regular nick.

Obviously a moderator goes by the standards he or she believes is acceptable to the members. You don't have a moderator - so you decide what is acceptable or unacceptable.
