Neferti, you do have a tendency to lump groups of us together, and then to judge us according to, shall we say, the shit that rubs off, or according to birds of a feather.

I consider that to be a shallow way of thinking. Tell you what, I have known Monk for two years, and Aussie for six years, but I don't know Lisa. In fact I know virtually nothing about her. She is someone who joined this forum about six months ago, and other than some interaction on the board between a mod and a member, I don't know her.

What makes you think we are a tightly knit group and go everywhere together? I met Aussie long ago, on another unrelated forum. I did meet Monk here on PA. But there is really no connection between us as a group, as you seem to be suggesting.

Huh? What do you mean, I can't spell? I majored in art history and English lit, and worked as a copy editor for a printing company. Now years later I'm retired and I write fiction at home for fun. I'd say I know how to spell.

Yes IQ, Monk can be very difficult, and often he is wrong. It's true that he has discredited me a number of times. He doesn't realize it, apparently. We have had words privately about this problem.

Just because I am friendly with Monk, on his own forum, and also on the phone overseas, doesn't mean that he and I agree on things. In fact we disagree on almost every issue. I have pointed out instances where we disagree a number of times in threads.

Monk and I have had a few outright arguments about issues on these boards. I am an individual in my own right, a member of these forums, and I intend to continue. I'm Annie, I'm not "joined at the hip" to Monk, as some have said, including Neferti.
