Re: Proposed addition to the Constitution
If there was a way to delete entries from the mod log, I never found it on the admin control panel I had access to, and there were entries for AiA actions when I left.

Re: Proposed addition to the Constitution
I was trying to remember how to do that. I have the admin panel over on Monk's board. But I think it is done by an admin from the mod panel.
If you have the admin cp, that also gives you buttons and boxes all over the board that not even global mods have.
In the mod logs, the entries will show up with boxes next to them, and can be deleted, one at a time, or en masse. I believe I remember that's how it works.

Aussie should have been able to find it in the months he's been stewing about this issue, then. I never found it, but then, I didn't have access to all the usual admin buttons, like the one to promote/demote admins (we had to wait for FD to do it).
Would the fact that AiA's account was deleted have removed the log entries for that user, perhaps?

Yes, I've already said that.

Read my post above again, Boxy. I think you saw my first version which wasn't right, so I rewrote my post.
An admin can delete the mod logs in the mod panel. An admin can, but a mod can't.
I don't think there is a control for that inside the admin panel after all, but you have to have admin powers to do it.

Oh garbage boxy! A simple control, click in a checkbox, hit "delete selected entries." You are not being honest there! Aussie and Annie said there were no AiA entries in the mod log. I would not make a song and dance if it had been just Aussie said it.
What is it that took you seven days to delete and dispose of? Seven bloody days!

I have to wonder why that was even discussed with you Monk - either on the board or privately. It's no surprise some members scattered knowing that you were privy to admin/mod "investigations".Jovial Monk wrote:Oh garbage boxy! Would you like the new admin to return the favour?
Re: Proposed addition to the Constitution
It was raised publicly so no confidences betrayed and I know how to delete Mod Log entries because when this fact came out I went to my board, had a quick look and deleted some unimportant log entries. Admin log can be cleared the same way but a telltale trace remains.
No, boxy has to come clean.
boxy hates Aussie (I can understand that) but loves the board, Eventually the latter will take over. I just hope it doesn't happen too late.

OK - if logs can be deleted - then that explains why it would be impossible for me to prove my whinging accusations to you and Aussie. I'm not in the slightest bit surprised.
What was the standard answer I always got from you all - "it would show up in the logs".
I also need some proof that AiA is dishonest - and so far only you have admitted what you're capable of not what he was actually supposed to have done.
I doubt it would even have occurred to Boxy and AiA to cover their tracks - they didn't do anything suspicious in the first place. Boxy had to fix up my Mantra account last time Aussie was ousted because I had to log in under a different nick thanks to the stuff ups in the board. For the full year AiA and Boxy were running the place - I had no problems at all with logging in, permissions etc.
