I could cut a swathe a mile wide through that freediver, especially given that twice now, you have completely ignored the Constitution. But, in the end, you agree that the present document (on this issue) is adequate. You are right...the more words you put in these things, the easier it is to find inconsistency and 'hoops.'

That's fine in principle FD - but every time Aussie wins an election, more members depart for greener fields. It's hard to locate them and entice them back here. Aussie maintains another forum and when he needs his troops - he drags them here en masse to vote - even though they have no interest in this forum. They make a token post - then vote and off they go until the next election.
Surely honesty & integrity comes into this. If the global moderators on Ozpolitic even committed half the acts that Aussie indulges in - they'd be out on their ear.

You mean like Kiwi Dave, mantra? Who have you enticed back. Re: Proposed addition to the Constitution
There is no point putting honesty and itnegrety into the constitution. They would lose all meaning.
I don't see what can be done about the voting thing, as they are real people voting, as far as I can tell. We could have a minimum post number requirement, but that would not solve the fundamental problem, just draw an arbitrary line in the sand. Plus, it would create a few headaches for people who delete their accounts in protest or have them deleted by admin. But I think it would be a good idea as a minimum requirement.

Aussie - FD might have his lax moments, but I haven't found him dishonest. I have never come across anyone as blatantly self serving, cunning and dishonest as you. Your job is to serve the members but you serve yourself and your greed is always your undoing.
This forum had just started to get busy again after the last lot of damage you caused and you blew it. Do you really care about any of the members aside from Monk, Ele & Lisa?
The reason there are problems getting people to run for admin is because they can't compete with your corruption. It's started again 5 minutes after you had your control removed. It just makes a laughing stock of genuine members who want to post here and be themselves.
I don't give a stuff about the Constitution - it's always been feeble and you've got away with reading whatever you want into it and abusing it.
Those who vote for you might be your mates - but they're not genuine members.
Is this really what you want for PA - yourself and 3 members all spitting and throwing stones at anyone who walks in the door?

Yes they are real people of course - but they're gone a couple of seconds after voting. No wonder members are just watching at the moment to see what's going on before they waste any time logging in and getting comfortable again.Freediver wrote:I don't see what can be done about the voting thing, as they are real people voting, as far as I can tell. Would you prefer I posted more like Lisa? Obviously you feel more comfortable with members who treat you as their superior, but we've moved past the 60's.Aussie wrote:Thought so. Neither does freediver.I don't give a stuff about the Constitution.....

Probably. At least feeling some emotion on a forum is better than feeling none at all.
