I don't think you understand. The govt does not just print money. It sells bonds either to itself or another investor. Those bonds are debts the govt must repay with interest to the investor.

That is not a MMT reality.

It sells bonds either to itself..
In the case of a Government which has no savings in the Bank, how does it pay itself for the bond?

How about you use a search engine to find out for yourself?

And if it is that you are being pedantic about my liberal use of the term govt rather than referring to the fed instead, well fine, so long as you remember that the fed serves gov policy and is controlled by gov policy... and even the web address ends 'dot gov'. It is incorporated by the gov, for the gov to serve the gov and is oft called the fourth arm of the gov.
