Take the Admin position out of it and I would sort-of agree.

I wish Aussie would concentrate on that sort of stuff and cancel/retract his stupid amendment.
Nothing wrong with the amendment. It is very good policy. All Petitions of the kind set up by freediver and in the context of his Constitution, must have a sunset.
No. Around about the time my membership was deleted, Neferti's appears to have gone a similar way - maybe she'd like to vote. Perhaps even Boxy. It wouldn't surprise me if you dig out Blaze and some others at the last minute in order for this amendment to go through - so unless you can swear this won't happen - you have to extend the cut off time to be fair.

Aussie did extend the time for voting, Mantra.

He has Pierre up his sleeve, dunno if there are more muppets to vote yet.

He can extend it again. Why have you made the passwords so complicated to get into this forum Monk? My computer was hacked over on your board immediately after you introduced this new set up. FD needs to take care of his forums more. There had better not be any problems again with my membership or computer.

I am neither Admin nor mod here, Mantra, so I could in no way act to change password requirements. Even on my board there was no need to change passwords when I introduced the new requirements.

I imagine Aussie wanted to improve security here, and that is always a good idea. I recommend you change your password every 3 months:

1. Include at least one capital letter, preferably not the first letter of your password
2. include a few lower case letters
3. Include a couple of digits 0..9 NOT by using 0 for o, 3 for e, 5 for s 6 for d or 9 for q
4. Include one or more characters !@#$%^&*()_+?><.,
5. Change it every 3 months
6. Don’t base it on your nick, real name, real street or suburb or pet name etc
7. Don’t use straight lines from your keyboard asdfghj or diagonal ones xft7
8. Use different passwords for your account here, Deepy’s toilet, your email and on-line banking. 8 characters is the minimum length I would recommend.

Mantra=1 would not be a secure password, xuA)1=2B would be much better, then you could change your pass word to xuA)1=3C etc

Even in government offices, even within the PM’s office people are wwaaayyyyyy too lax about passwords. I commend Aussie for taking action that serves to protect people’s accounts here.

Your insecure wifi system got hacked—wifi other than with good, top of the line modems is quite insecure.

So are you another one of "Annie's" little sisters Robina? Do you think "Annie" would appreciate you stealing a personal photo and displaying it as an avatar on a public political forum?

Hmm, since I weigh 105 pounds, that's not a picture of me, Mantra ..

bwahahahahahahahaha Mantra!

Robina is another sock of mine (actually, to be pedantic, my only sock here right at this moment) and that funny avatar is easily available, just Google > Images > Fat woman.

Try thinking some time Mantra.

Hmmm I checked the members list and both boxhead and Naffie are there. I imagine both could vote if they wanted to. Boxhead will be back here in a few months as his Sour Grapes II disintegrates. Then again, this board will disintegrate if Aussie’s amendment is carried.

We need a decent constitution, written by someone knowledgeable and trustworthy, i.e. not Aussie.
