Bannings

Post by mantra » Wed May 11, 2011 9:10 am

IQ gets banned for a month because he made obscure references to someone's mother.

Mellie gets banned for a week because she believes the moderator is a transvestite.

Jubial Priest gets banned for using the F word.

Punk gets banned (not sure how long) for using the C word one too many times, yet Monk can use it in every sentence. Not only is this abusive person allowed to spew out his filth on anyone who disagrees with him - he gets away with it whereas not one other member here would. You use his drinking to excuse him. Can others use that as an excuse also?

I know you "needed" Monk for his vote Aussie - but how about showing some fairness here. Have Mel, IQ or Punk been worse than Monk or is it you just didn't like the team they batted for at the last election?

The solution is not to ban anyone or ban everyone who is rude.

Socky the Sock.

I agree with Mantra... I smell double standards.

I only knew IQ had bee banned and if you ask me aussie was more thsan tolerant to the abuse IQ heaped on his wife and family. That has always been a no no on PA, under every admin. I was utterly amazed to see Aussie give him a warning rather than ban him outright after one series of posts I saw him make.

Since Aussie brought in the rule I have only used that rude word once. And IQ was banned for attacks on DD’s family.

As far as i know punk was deliberately provocative after several warnings re that word, whose elimination was a part of aussie's platform - that word has traditionally been the one word censored on all the older versions of PA.

I do not know why mellie was banned- if she was. I did see a warning to jubial priest not to post as he was a sock for another id- i think it was IQs.

I support all Aussie's decisions so far. I think he has not put a foot wrong.

Of course you support everything Aussie does - no less would be expected from you knowing the history you two have together, nonetheless you have not been subject to Monk's abuse the way a few of us have. IQ is to you as Monk is to me.

You are showing bias just stating that Aussie has not put a foot wrong. You're portraying yourself as blinkered.

“Monk’s abuse” is only aimed at you when you tell mean spirited, malicious lies about Annie. I suggest you stop that practice and you will not receive that “Monk’s abuse” OK?

Who are you to suggest I fall into line behind your instructions? You're no-one Monk except a pain in the butt troll. I'm not doing anything wrong. If you think the answer is to spill your venom on me to shut me up - you're wrong.

Tough if you don't like what I say.

I don’t mind what you say and support your right to have your say. That does not include malicious lies and gossip about Annie, OK? Spread your evil filth about Annie in DeepshiT’s toilet of a board if you must but here I will ping you for it.

I will let this matter go when I'm ready.

This forum has to accommodate a lot of people - not just you and your g/f - and the same goes for Aussie. He has to consider all the members here - not just his fan club.
