Does it matter?

When you change the subject of a referendum after voting has started you invalidate the referendum.

That way other people can compare their count and check who was left off.
Yes, I did, Daddy. It is on page 23, I think.

Why not, in the case of an Admin triggered referendum? Around here you can change your vote after voting has begun......and pssst.....it was not a 'motion.' (This is not a Joske run Forum for Jaycees.)

It was an Admin proposal for consideration by way of what is called 'referendum' here, a unique one.....commenced by me. I would have a different view if a referendum was triggered after a successful Petition.

No, no real body allows a motion to be changed after voting has begun.

You were just so anxious to get Yogi Bear’s vote you would have agreed to anything.

But by changing your amendment you errrr changed it, since you changed it after voting had begun you invalidated your own referendum.

You should have introduced your motion for discussion, allowed people to suggest changes to it, adopted some or not (that needs to be done by a vote of members) then put the final form of the amendment to referendum.

Not introduce it, voting starts and you say “Oh, I changed my mind” stuff doesn’t work like that.

mellie.....who first graced us with her presence at about the time of the last election, but as she was busy posting what she purported to be your personal details over and over despite warnings in public, I gave her a holiday in Nauru for a brief period. She flounced off to DT's joint but just had to come back to vote here.

You forgot SN voted NAY!

Showman’s vote shouldn’t be counted—wasn’t counted in the election. Sock of yours is it, Aussie? You got muppets and puppets voting!

Goodness me, I wish you would read. Freediver was referring to a past count.....in the context of my earlier remark that it was about 8 all. He found a count I directed him to, posted at page 23, which then was 8/7....and asked where the other (later) 1 (to make it 8/8) was. I answered.

;)

As you can see....Showman's vote has been counted. Done deal. If you don't like my decision, the Constitution provides you with a remedy. Any Mod is free to advise you of the fact that he is not a sock of mine. Fact is, he ain't me, so his IP will not be the same as mine. I do not use any of my socks in votes.

I have also counted the 'aye' vote of the currently banned Member. I will also count the vote of Super Nova, even though he is almost never here.
