Why? You don't... you wouldn't even acknowledge the author of the palindromic poem by Jonathan Reed.

now I ask you... which is more disrespectful... discussing the rights of authors in the poetry thread or denying the rights of an author as you did?

Mirrors - by Lisa Jones

Mirrors reflect back
the emotional images we cast;
but our inner thoughts do track
the trajectories of our past.

And honesty is such an image
for it's reflected in our eyes
along with strength and courage

Trust and faith are others
though they're very hard to find
I've met many players
but I've left them all behind.

And if loyalty exists
I've yet to see its glare

I saw your request posted quite a long time ago now... I've been waiting for Lisa to acknowledge the author but it seems she won't or can't. Disrespect or stupidity? It's hard to know which. Probably a bit of both.

Nonetheless... since Lisa has no respect for published writers and their right to be acknowledged nor the reader's repeated request to know the author... let me tell you.

It was written by Jonathan Reed, not to be confused with John Reed from an earlier time.

When Earth's last picture is painted and the tubes are twisted and dried,
When the oldest colours have faded, and the youngest critic has died,
