On the matter of Annie: I do not support her being a mod on FD Polanimal. It should have been enough that I mentioned that she came with baggage. Aussie knew what I meant by that claim and that it was no minor baggage to which I was referring. It was about breaching privacy.

On the matter of Aussie: Two days ago, my online relationship with FD Polanimal and its members changed profoundly. I became an undercover moderator advising Aussie on who should and should not be banned. The 'request' if you could call it that was presented as an ultimatum. Essentially, Aussie was going to ban Mellie if I did not present reasons as to why he should not. What could I do? I was caught between a rock and a hard place. If I did nothing Mellie would be banned. If I did something then Mellie may not be banned. So I did something and provided 13 reasons as to why Mellie should not be banned… and it worked. Mellie still posts here. Aussie was so impressed with my 'cogent' arguments in her defense, that he asked me to be his ongoing advisor on matters to do with banning members only. But Aussie, I anticipated this so provided universal reasons that could be applied to any 'questionable' member ...

Sappho, as an ordinary moderator here I have no access to IP numbers. Basically I get rid of spam and make sure things are straightened out and tidy around the board. Somebody mentioned earlier that is is like a housekeeping job.

About the second part of your post, I have a general comment to make. Aussie now has a mod team, Pastafarian and me. If there are forum matters he needs to consider, then we would expect him to consult us, not a regular member of the board.

It's been pointed out by others in other places that I am being insulted by the two most prolific posters here... Monk and Lisa... and that they are somewhat embarrassed that a poster of my potential should be treated so poorly. Quite frankly, I hadn't noticed it myself, I've been too interested in exploring teen speak as motivated by the proliferation of lols, hugz and kisses in the posts of others, and that is a challenge in itself since teen speak is not as contextual as normal english... so with objective eyes I have reviewed the posts of Monk and Lisa and concede that they are indeed making it there business to snipe in my general direction.

It's not nice... particularly given that I am doing my damnedest to avoid insulting others. Clearly then, Monk and Lisa either want me gone or want me as their insult punching bag... a role I will not perform.

So... da Monkey is signing out too... and since I have no other socks in this place...
