Liebors disasterous carbon tax

Post by IQS.RLOW » Tue Apr 12, 2011 1:44 am

They are completely fucked and they know it

The CPRS was rejected by their sordid alliance partner previously because the Green fucks thought it was too generous to industry ( and would have saved jobs, which the Greens couldnt give a fuck about) and industry knows how weak the useless pricks are now.

Buh bye Liebor and the Greens. Everyone has has woken up to your lies and backroom deals and no one wants you anymore. Either of you. But the conservatives and the normal populace will enjoy watching you tards fight amongst yourselves for the next few years as you struggle over your 30-12/ 35-15 minority that will surely shrink as you cannabilised each other.

And I will laugh and laugh and fucking laugh, because you and your filthy politics are scum and fucking hopeless

I can't think of anything better than Labor and the Greens being relegated to the political doldrums for 20+ years, and the next time you scum try to rise above your rightful place of cleaning toilets, this point in time should be preserved in history to show your incompetence

This is the sort of party-political crap put up by party fanbois that always reminds me of like grade three primary school. Nothing interesting or constructive about it. It does not invite debate because that might lead to a recognition that the other side of politics might have some validity. This sort of childish crap and closed mindset really belongs in Deepshit’s toilet more than here. And then fucking stupid LOWIQ puts a spelling error right in his topic title—no ‘e’ in disastrous, fuckwit!

It doesn't invite debate because even a rusted on labia voter like yourself knows it is true. You don't even want to face how liebor is going to manage this cockup and not come out smelling like the piece of shit they really are

I am a climate change believer. I believe that climate changes. What I am not sure of is how humans affect this. I have not yet been convinced that human actions materially affect the change in the earth climate. After all the erarth has heated and cooled of it own accord for millions of years. That being said I dont believe it it is a bad thing to do everything in our power to reduce the polutants that are put into our atmosphere. So taking steps to drop co2 emmisions is a good thing.

The question is how will a carbon tax do this? All I can see it doing is pushing the price of goods and services up so as the tax is passed on by manufacturers etc to consumers. All this with an admitted result that it wont effect the level of polution globablly by any measurable amount.

So we are to inflict financial pain on the populace for no decernable result, maybe other than being able to chest beat at the next climate conference!!

I am sick of the big stick approach taken by govt on this issue. Why not give incentives to make changes and use renewables etc. The answer is because the govt doesnt gat revenue from that. Hence all this is, is a massive tax grab.
