And now that Origin bought out Integral Energy, Origin being part owned by China who mine and mineral explore our soil, do we like the idea of our electricity supply being owned by them?
Now, they may name their price!

Who owns Ford company here in Australia?
Who owns Holden company here in Australia?
Who owns the Hume Wier and all the workings that go with it?
99% of what we thought was Australian, is own o/s

No idea. Be all sort of pension funds etc etc nominee companies with shares in Telstra.

I think Swan's intervention means it is illegal for ASX and Singapore stock exchange to merge.

I have seen it reported both ways. I am not sure if i have sound reasoning to reject the idea or just instinct. What would the advantages and disadvantages be?
