Labor faces disaster if Julia Gillard is to continue as Prime Minister - Andrew Bolt

http://www.heraldsun.com.au/opinion/rep ... 6036209006

Talk about stating the obvious...

Note to self: It's a little late for doomsday prophecies, the fact that ALP are finished is a given, the question is when?

I think everything happens for a reason, look on the bright side... never before have we been so insistent to learn the truth, we have bright Australians like Julian Assange getting in on the act and demanding transparency like never before.

It's the dawn of a new era..

Had Labor not been so inherently corrupt and incompetent, we may never have been so motivated to demand / expose the truth.

And Andrew, Labor were finished well before Julia Gillard took the wheel, so lets try not to blame it on the little woman, yeah?

Yes the ALP were on the ropes before they changed leadership, but whilst Rudd was leader Rudd was led by what Gillard wanted (Education Revolution was Gillards disaster).

BER is/was not a disaster, did and is keeping construction companies going, trades people, apprentices yadda yadda and public schools got new buildings for the first time in 50 years!

The BER has been an overpriced cash cow for tradesmen, on overpriced "projects" eg $850,000 for sheds which normally cost $250,000! Building a gym normally costing $600,000 but charging $2.6m and renaming it as a multi purpose center, and extensions being charged at 3-4 times the normal rates.
The BER is a financial disaster.

Have only heard of one previous financial rort of such magnitude and that was the $1m BBQ that the Victorian ALP undertook

More onthe disasterous BER
Toilets block normal cost $330,000 charged under Gillard over $900,000

Then the complete disaster on the "free" computers further blowing out the "budget"

It is a “financial disaster” if you read the Oz and accept everything there uncritically. Not me. Schools that got nice new halls are loving the revenue from renting them out and loving the flexibility for using them for sport and music etc. For a stimulus program where some waste was accepted for a fast roll out it was a resounding success.

Note our jobless rates compared to other countries.

And Gillard was the person behind Rudd's free insulation pink batts disaster
Also Gillard was the scaremongerer to Rudd on the recession that never arrived thanks to the Liberal government's insulation.

And Gillard has promised (if Gillards promises mean anything anymore) to have the budget back inthe black by 2013.
With the disasterous BER blowing out billions of dollars and the Gillards vain search to try and tax Australians on anything, including our air, the imposition of a flood relief tax, a (failed) mining tax, then it would come as no surprise if Gillard tries to impose a Jap-Tax to try and convince people to help out the flood victims from Japan.
It's all very well to have these taxes, but Gillard would not be onforwarding these taxes rather they would be used to "get the budget back in the black" and that would be it.

And then Gillard has to somehow find over $50 billion for the white elephant NBN!

The only reason why the stuff up happened with the schools is the constuction companies.
They said "Hey, Gov't money, double the quote, they won't know anything"
and thats a fact, they would not know the price of a washer for the kitchen tap,
it happens all the time, T.A.F.E ran a course for people to gain plant operater tickets,
in the first course it was $500 per head, the owner of the equipment said "Gee, I can make money here, gov't is paying and they don't look at the fine details, they just pay" he tripled the quotes on the 2nd course and it was noticed, he lost out big time.
You can't blame the gov't when that crap happens, it's the contractors..
