Maybe you don't understand community service Monk... it represents a conviction, it represents a criminal sentence. It can be converted to incarceration if they fail to attend to their responsibilities. In the main, it is very successful because the crim is fully aware that they are one step away from jail.

I don't agree with boot camps... they do not reflect the nature of society.
