Gillard breaks bread with Jai Qinglin

Post by mellie » Fri Apr 08, 2011 12:22 pm

Jia Qinglin, a member of China’s top decision-making body, today signed an agreement with Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard to strengthen education ties and promote stronger co-operation.

Jia, chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, traveled to Canberra after visiting Western Australia. Gillard and Jia agreed to make it easier for students to study in either country and created a China- Australia Forum to guide future relations, a statement from Gillard’s office said.

China is Australia’s biggest trading partner and bought A$7.25 million ($7.6 million) worth of goods in February, according to government statistics released on April 5. China’s economy expanded 10.3 percent in 2010, overtaking Japan as the world’s second-largest.

Australia, the world’s biggest shipper of coal and iron ore, avoided recession after the global financial crisis on surging Asian demand.

:D
is a senior leader of the People's Republic of China. He is the fourth ranking member of the Politburo Standing Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Chairman and Party secretary of the National Committee of the People's Political Consultative Conference. Jia's functions as the head of China's consultative legislative body are largely "ceremonial" in nature. Earlier he had served as the CPC Party Chief in the country's southern Fujian province, and also as Mayor of Beijing.

Because of his high local position and his ties with then-General Secretary Jiang Zemin, in November 2002 Jia became the fourth-ranking member on the powerful Politburo Standing Committee (PSC) of the Communist Party of China.[4] Although his ceremonial role as the Chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, a quasi-consultative upper house in China's political system, makes him fourth in the order of precedence, it is widely accepted that the position has very little power, perhaps the least amount of power in the nine PSC members.

The Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference is a united front organization under the leadership of the Communist Party of China and an organ for various other political parties, mass organizations and personages of various social circles to take part in the running of the state.

China's CPPCC Chairman visited Russia also...so perhaps Gillard is starting to think things through very carefully...re- our concerning and unhealthy codependency with the US.

The CPPCC are working to counter Obama.

We just cant continue backing a dead horse "Obama"..because he is absolutely finished, China are gearing up to come in for the kill, and we are not in a geographical position to serve as a US trench AGAIN!

It's...

The UN -vrs- CPPCC

Think about it, who's in the race and who isn't?

Now we must start being strategic and stop digging our graves, because quite frankly, we aren't in a position to negotiate, we would do best to opt right out of whatever the CPPCC have in store for the US... and most importantly, cease backing Obamas reckless pursuits in Libya...

Obama made his bed, without gaining permission from congress, he needs us more than we need him... we are the worlds biggest shipper of coal iron and ore... and stand to lose more than we gain backing a regime thats destined to fail.

Rudd needs to shut his gob and stop infuriating those in a position to call the shots.

The UN have met their match... and to think, Rudd so desperately wanted his UN job.

John Howards loyalty to the US was admirable, but here we have a US/UN prepared to sacrifice our nations own security, prosperity in order to enable them to do to what they have to countless nations like Libya, so they may maintain their nations decadence at the expense and destruction of developing others.
Why did Obama go to Libya?

Because Libya was the golden egg, Russia, China, and the US needed to secure the last corner-stone...US wanted to knock China and Russia out of the race.

They think they have... but unfortunately for them, this will have the opposite effect in the long run.

Meanwhile, the US were prepared to compromise our nations prosperity, security, and regional stability to secure their golden egg... enough is enough, they are well and truly stretching the friendship here.

This is why the US lied and said China had hacked us, they were playing us off, one against the other securing their own loot in Libya.

Ask yourselves, why do 1 in 7 Australian children still live in poverty?

It's time we reaped what we sowed.

There is no excuse for why we are doing it so hard simply to serve an ill-fated UN.

Why should the UN be entitled to 10% of our nations carbon-tax?

It's time we stood our ground. Time we grew up, ... being a peaceful alliance doesn't have to mean offering ourselves as human sacrifices to either the US or China.

If we play our cards right, we can have the best of both worlds.

Time we stopped sending Israel "care" packages.

8-)

We have "cared" enough.

Should a WTO (world Trade Authority) dictate whether or not we import Blight fly bitten apples from New Zealand, compromising our own fruit industry, this and capacity to sustain ourselves?

New Zealand Apples have been banned from Australia for almost 100 years, and for good reason.

Now, the UN wants Australia to cripple itself and render itself nice and needy, just the way they like us so we will forever remain their humble obedient UN servants.

FUCK ISRAEL!!

MUNTS

FUCK the US.... and FUCK being enslaved to 'ANY' global order when we are in a position to pick our "OWN" fruit and eat it too.
