Bill Shortens long term plan was to install leaders he knew were doomed in order to boost his own career prospects later on down the track.
And do you think Bill Shorten, Arbib and corporate/power backers/brokers masterminded this between themselves over a plate of nachos one evening?
Labor are a seasonal UN picking machine... think of it like produce... Rudd came in during a time when $produce$ was plentiful, the Spring harvest was upon us, he picked then sold much of the harvest, (mostly to China and off shore investors under the direction of his faceless over-lords) then when he began questioning the inner-workings of Labors directive, (the machine itself) Gillard was hurriedly installed, like Latham, Rudd was to be exterminated for being too meddlesome, asking too many questions, re- Aid to certain foreign nations, one thing and another.
Labor have well and truly lost their way, even their scorned leaders and ministers are growing increasingly contemptuous of their ill-fated short-lived mission impossible, are now beginning to wonder if they were afterall taking directions from those with their partys best interests at heart or if they were the sloppy ill-fated term Labor had to have (bit like the recession we had to have) to clear the way for those with veiled agendas future prospects.
How did Gillard feel when she learned of Arbib reporting back to not her, but to the US government in secret as their secret informant within the inner-core of her own government?
It's got to hurt.
Basically, the US and UN are disregarding her service, are more or less bypassing her leadership and battery operating her government from afar, was this what she had hoped to achieve as Australia's first female PM?
I doubt it, no one wants to think they have been undermined, screwed over and used as a means to fluff someone else's pillow, not this way thats for sure.
Bill Shorten would like nothing more than to see Gillard topless swinging in the breeze as soon as possible (after getting the carbon-tax through and fanny-duty over and done with), this was her assigned task, she was never meant to do/be much more in his egotistical eyes, her own inner-party betrayed her, and I think she knows it, this is why she's not kicking back too hard, she's reflecting, knows the more she kicks the more indignant it is for her to be seen supporting those who more or less used her as a human sacrifice to please their almighty others and nurture he who hopes to be Australia's first Presidents own career prospects.
Currently, Gillard is not leading the ALP, the machine itself is being driven by external-to-the-party others (she's figured out they aren't quite the socialists she had in mind) the ALP having been slipped 'deliberately' into neutral and left to role down a hill to it's impending doom with her in the drivers seat, Rudd as her incompetent passenger, a few faithfuls sitting in the back, all without seat belts. Rudds not losing the plot, he's finally speaking up.
What would I do if I were Gillard?
I together with Rudd would turn this into a last-ditch learning-tool ... would become a political messiah and tell Australians the truth, tell them who and what is exactly driving their economy and calling the shots behind the scenes, I would give them the heads up, to at least try and prevent further catastrophe....would be my last saving grace, and my way of saying sorry, and actually meaning it this time.
Anyone can be sucked in once, or even twice, but to know you have been and not do everything in your power to alert others to the road ahead, concerning national sovereignty, security, entitlement, and those willfully fluffing their wicked pillows who have grown fat, selfish, 'evil' is unforgivable.
Both Gillard and Rudd have some thinking to do... their last saving grace may in fact be a tell-all, something significant enough to stop it, stop the machine which is not at all traditional labor, or at least throw a spanner in the works of autocracy and help buy us some much-needed time.
It's not about who wins, and who loses, Gillard -vrs- Abbott, Lib-vrs- Lab, we share a bigger enemy...
Between Shorten and Arbib, they have made fools of themselves , made fools of us all whoring themselves out to serve themselves, at the expense of our nation, and everything she represents in her own entirety.
No wonder Latham went a bit funny... who wouldn't.
