In fact .. the more I think about it .. the more I know Pastafarian would definitely be the best person for the job. But that's just my humble opinion based on a few things I've observed lately.lisa jones wrote:I disagree with the latter ie Boxy. That person is already attempting to undermine Aussie at every turn. Just take a look at its own posts.Rainbow Moonlight wrote:I only see two good options - Monk and Boxy.
From what I've been able to deduce .. PASTAFARIAN would make an excellent Mod AT THIS TIME .. and as such he has my support.

Likewise... even Higherbeam who has self nominated comes with baggage... but not pasta, and what's more pasta presents consistantly as moderate and difficult to rile... t'would be an excellent choice... a winning choice... a sensible choice.skippy wrote:That is still what I think.Monkey Magic wrote:Wasn't it skip who suggested that pasta would be the best option because he lacks the heavy baggage we all carry? That was a good idea and gives you the win you seek.Aussie wrote:Indeed, Skippy. I am in a no win position, but them's the breaks, hey?

Re: Position of Moderator
I have a request for the Board.
When I announce my decision, I ask that you refrain from critical comment until you have allowed the new Team a fair go at getting the job done. You cannot come to an informed decision about that until at least, say a fortnight I guess.
Encourage as much as you like, but before you condemn.......observe and if after at least that fortnight of observation, you want to bash, then bash away.
Two things are delaying my making the decision.
1. Replies to some PMs I have sent.
2. freediver handing over the keys.

Sappho has told me to say that she is not ready to say anything just yet... incase she is wrong. Sappho will continue to monitor the situation as it unfolds.skippy wrote:Would you be more likely to post here with that choice, Sappho????t'would be an excellent choice... a winning choice... a sensible choice

I see this as Aussies first test as to if he is listening to us,re what has been posted on our opinions as to who we think would be the most suitable person to mod the forum.
I wanted Aussie and the other candidates to tell us who they would make mod, Aussie said he would consult with us, lets see if he has.
I would be disappointed if Aussie goes against the wishes of those who put him into the admin roll after we trusted him to consult our opinions.
Its Aussies call,he has to admin this site, but if he goes against the opinions here, I think he has learnt little from his last effort administrating this board.
Over to you,Aussie, its your call.

If it's not your scene, why did you seek to infect Mantra with your ugly diseased insults?
What else would you expect from a fake cloning troll
