Hmmm when I got home & looked at my maters, semi-dried. Tomorrow's 41C should complete the job!

To feel cool, think of those poor Europeans, very low max temps (a - in front of it) and no Russian gas to keep them warm. A continent of icy poles (and greeks, krauts, wogs etc
) ahh I feel cool already!

hehehe first time I tried this, dried them OK then filled into jars and added the oil. They remained really crunchy
I now know that you first put the dried maters into a colander and pour over a couple litres boiling water!

Here we go, colander of sundried toms after a couple litre bpiling water poured over:

Little bit later, nearly got 5 jars sundried maters in EVOO done:

Pretty good, eh?
Bay leaves, fresh picked bayleaves top and bottom!
And who was it scoffed, hmmm?
