Good luck Aussie

Post by mantra » Fri Apr 01, 2011 7:46 am

You won - yet those who voted for you weren't even active participants aside from Skippy and Monk.

You dragged your family members into it, embittered members of dead forums and socks. You gained votes by twisting something innocent that I said and turning it into something ugly to indicate to those few remaining voters that the administration was dishonest - yet your actions were those of a dishonest man.

Your campaign wasn't in the interests of PA as far as you were concerned - it was a battle to regain something that you wrongfully believed was yours, regardless of the members you would lose in the process. Was your win bittersweet?

PA might have been rough at times - but it was honest.

You can look forward to those old "friends" of yours returning Aussie to replace those who leave and a return of the old insipid one liners and inane platitudes - while you place your heavy boot of censorship on every post not written by one of your cronies.

You disappointed me Aussie. I have always shown you courtesy and ignored those who claimed you were dishonest - yet you stopped at nothing - innuendo, slander and embracing those you dislike - all in the name of revenge and your obsession for control.

Just a quote from Monk on his blog.
Hope he doesn’t renege on appointing me mod there, and on being willing to modernise that backwards board
Pity you weren't honest enough to disclose who you were appointing as a moderator.

Have you got the guts to leave this thread up in Off Topic?

Just read Manty’s tanty. I was completely open and above board that I wanted change.

boxy could have offered that but nope.

Aussie did offer it, so went with him. After the history of him suspending & banning me you think I would just take Aussie’s word for it? I did want Aussie to be more open about it, you will see I forced him to say a newby would be his mod—all according to stuff I published this election. I think Aussie should have been a bit more open but take that up with him not me.

http://ozpolitic.com/polanimal/viewtopi ... 700#p50855 and a few posts before that. Nothing done that was all that secret.

Well I guess congratulations are in order to you also Monk.

No I won't be bothered taking it up with Aussie - he is a renowned liar and couldn't tell the truth if his life depended on it. You both weaseled your way into the administration of this board through lies and slander.

However I would suggest to any members who care, and are surprised that you and Aussie are a package deal, lodge their complaints with FD. Unfortunately no accounts or computers will be safe now under your "technical" expertise.

But - you can delete anything you don't like me saying now - can't you Monk? Honesty is not permitted under your admin/moderation. I knew Aussie would do this and this is precisely why I didn't vote for him.

Anyone wanting to be informed of a real lifeboat (not the competing twitterblogs of monk and deep), please email me. I havn't got time to set one up at the moment, but if this board heads the way it looks like going, I will in a few weeks time.

box_headed is the handle, hotmail the place.

I'm not going anywhere in a hurry, Lisa, but fact is, I know others will likely be lost, unless an alternative is given.

Being in charge of any online forum is a thankless task ..and you cop a lot of flack (most of which is unwarranted and unfair).

These elections provide an opportunity for different people to take the helm and thus experience being needlessly attacked/abused.

Just a general (and cynical) observation ..

What is that expression IQ uses....something about a table and bitter?

Mantra, 99.9% of that is emotive silliness, pretty much as wrong as the misleading comments you made about the election process, including that the Polls closed on Tuesday last. When I asked you about that, you attempted to blame AiA for your incorrect comment. When pressed, you said he told you about the Tuesday closure via PM. He denies saying anything of the kind to you, and frankly, mantra, I accept the explanation given by AiA. So, let's hear nothing more from you on the issue of honesty, wot?

The election is over, and I am content to allow the dust to settle over the week-end when I am away from home. I have asked boxy to care-take during that absence, and hopefully there can be a seamless transition next Tuesday.

As the week-end goes by mantra, I trust you will recover your composure, and that you return to the pleasant posting you are perfectly capable of. You are perfectly welcome here, mantra, and I hope you do.

:)

Cheers.

You saw my response from AiA - he posted it. Did it look as though I was making it up? Why didn't he correct me if I was wrong? It doesn't matter anyway Aussie - you've lied by omission. I had no reason to lie about that message. I thought I was being helpful by posting what I thought he said.

Anyway he's gone now - banned, I assumed and I'm not getting into this with you. You are too cunning for me to deal with and you've got a shockingly abusive moderator in tow.

This place will be dead within a month anyway.
