Why did the Greens do so very badly?

The greens are nothing but labors proxy.
The voters recognise that a vote for either of them is a disaster

Because most people who vote Green do so in an Electorate that is "blue ribbon" Liberal or Labor so their votes for the Greens really don't count. ;)

Greens vote was basically static while Labor primary vote went back 10-11%.

Do you have a brain Naffie or has it been ejected in favor of more bile and spite?

You asked a silly question. :roll: Ok then, perhaps those who rejected Labor voted either Liberal or Independent. How the hell would anyone know except those who voted? It is obvious that the ALP got rejected big time and the Greens didn't pick up those votes so I presume they turn-coated and voted Liberal. Or they are normally Swinging Voters!!! :o
