Libyan dictator Colonel Gaddafi is well loved by a majority of his people, and the UN had to do something about this to make it appear like a necessary advance of US troops and UN intervention.

While we are busy macing, tear-gassing and pelting our own 'dissidents' 'protesters' 'rebels' (refugees) with beanbags, we have been shaking our finger at Gaddafi trying to maintain order among his own rebellious UN-infiltrated socialist reformists.

Ironic hu!!

Do as we say, not as we do!

I believe this is the take home message.

Now the idiots have figured out the world can see exactly what they are up to, they have palmed Libya off onto NATO, lol

Dumb-asses!

Did you guys know that according to the Guinness book of records, Australia's own Palm Island (the place our cops kill Aboriginals and get away with it) is the most dangerous place on earth outside a combat zone?

And to think, we think Libya have problems?

They were fine until we meddled in what was a thriving Muslim country.

Ok, it's not exactly our scene, given we are westerners, but they were fine before we stuck our beak in it this and decided to invade them to take control of their gas, oil and petroleum as per UN WTO protocol.

 Will we ever learn?

Obama's Foolish and Unconstitutional War

By Patrick J. Buchanan

"The president does not have power under the Constitution to unilaterally authorize a military attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat to the nation."

So said constitutional scholar and Senator Barack Obama in December 2007—the same man who, this weekend, ordered U.S. air and missile strikes on Libya without any authorization from Congress.

Obama did win the support of Gabon in the Security Council, but failed with Germany. With a phone call to acquitted rapist Jacob Zuma, he got South Africa to sign on, but not Brazil, Russia, India or China. All four abstained.

This is not the world's war. This is Obama's war.

The U.S. Navy fired almost all the cruise missiles that hit Libya as the U.S. Air Force attacked with B-2 bombers, F-15s and F-16s.

"To be clear, this is a U.S.-led operation," said Vice Adm. William Gortney.

"In wartime, truth is so precious that she should always be attended by a bodyguard of lies," said Winston Churchill. Obama is a quick study.

In his Friday ultimatum, he said, "We are not going to use force to go beyond a well-defined goal—specifically, the protection of civilians in Libya."

Why, then, did we strike Tripoli and Moammar Gadhafi's compound?

So many U.S. missiles and bombs have struck Libya that the Arab League is bailing out. League chief Amr Moussa has called an emergency meeting of the 22 Arab states to discuss attacks that have "led to the deaths and injuries of many Libyan civilians." We asked for a no-fly zone, said Moussa, not the "bombardment of civilians."

What caused Obama's about-face from the Pentagon position that imposing a no-fly zone on Libya was an unwise act of war?

According to The New York Times, National Security Council aide Samantha Power, U.N. envoy Susan Rice and Hillary Clinton flipped him. The three sisters feel guilty about us not invading Rwanda when Hutu were butchering Tutsi.

They did not want to be seen as standing by when Gadhafi took Benghazi, which he would have done, ending the war in days, had we not intervened.

While Obama is no longer saying Gadhafi must go, Hillary insists that has to be the outcome. No question who wears the pants here.

As U.S. prestige and power are committed, if Gadhafi survives, he will have defeated Obama and NATO. Hence, we must now finish him and his regime to avert a U.S. humiliation and prevent another Lockerbie.

The Arab League and African Union are denouncing us, but al-Qaida is with us. For eastern Libya provided more than its fair share of jihadists to kill U.S. soldiers in Iraq. And jihadists are prominent among the rebels we just rescued.

Yet, even as Obama was announcing U.S. intervention to prevent "unspeakable atrocities," security police of Yemen's President Saleh, using sniper rifles, massacred 45 peaceful protesters and wounded 270. Most of the dead were shot in the head or neck, the work of marksmen.

Had Mahmoud Ahmadinejad done this in Tehran, would U.S. protests have been so muted?

In Bahrain, 2,000 Saudi soldiers and troops from emirates of the Gulf have intervened to save King Khalifa, whose throne was threatened by Shia demonstrators in the Pearl roundabout in Manama. The town square was surrounded, the Shia driven out, the 300-foot Pearl monument destroyed.

This crackdown on Bahrain's Shia has been denounced by Iran and Iraq. Grand Ayatollah Sistani, most revered figure in the Shia world, ordered seminaries shut in protest. This is serious business.

Not only are the Shia dominant in Iran, and in Iraq after the Americans ousted the Sunni-dominated Baathist Party, they are heavily concentrated in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, where the oil deposits are located.

They are a majority in Bahrain, where the U.S. Fifth Fleet is based. Shia Hezbollah is now the dominant military and political force in Lebanon.

Riyadh must have regarded the threat to Bahrain a grave one to have so exacerbated the religious divide and raised the specter of sectarian war.

Yet, again, why are we bombing Libya?

Gadhafi did not attack the West. He faced an uprising to dethrone him and rallied his troops to crush it, as any ruthless ruler would have done. We have no vital interest in who wins his civil war.

Indeed, Gadhafi has asked of Obama, "If you found them taking over American cities by force of arms, what would you do?"

Well, when the South fired on Fort Sumter, killing no one, Abraham Lincoln blockaded every Southern port, sent Gen. Sherman to burn Atlanta and pillage Georgia and South Carolina, and Gen. Sheridan to ravage the Shenandoah. He locked up editors and shut down legislatures and fought a four-year war of reconquest that killed 620,000 Americans—a few more than have died in Gadhafi's four-week war.

Good thing we didn't have an "international community" back then.
The Royal Navy would have been bombarding Lincoln's America.

Buchanan (who by all accounts should be president and not Obama) has a point. If there was a rebellion against the U.S government on American soil, the U.S government probably wouldn't be averse to deploying tactical nuclear weapons to suppress the insurgency.

And tell us Ms Gillard, why is it both you and Rudd took an ACTIVE role in assisting US forces with military action and protestant conduct in Libya, to over come their 'said' cruel regime, yet stood by and allowed Indonesia's fluffy bunny president to torture and mutilate the genitals of the very natives (our Fuzzy wuzzy angels) who stood by our men during WWII in Papua New Guinea? *wipes spew from mouth*

What did we do to manage that little crisis in Indonesia and PNG?

Oh yes, that's right, Gillard handed their lecherous fluffy bunny president Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono a $500 million cheque to fund Muslim schools to compensate for our shoddy gold mining pursuits in PNG's hidden Valley mine (co-owned by Australia and Canada), which we exploited then contaminated then walked away from recently.

As we happily turned a blind eye to the sick torture and enslavement of our Fuzzy Wuzzy angels, no questions asked.

Aren't we a lovely people.

*jerks a tear of pride*

My grandfather fought in WWII, fought for this stinking god forsaken country this and hid under dead mates carcases for days (played dead to survive)..and lost both his legs (when he got older, due to the boots cutting off his circulation in the trenches)... yet the foul stench of death did not alter his high opinion of those natives the Fuzzy wuzzy angels who stood by him and carried him back on their naked backs, this and nursed him to good health trickling water into his mouth with a wet cloth.

My grandfather would be absolutely horrified with this Labor government, (and he unlike my other side of the family who were Menzies supporters) was a rabid labor supporter, so thank god he's dead yeah?... or else he'd probably exterminate Gillard himself with his bare hands.

He was a damaged man, Pop Norman Baden Fawcett.

So...

What gives pigs?

God love him, he lied about his age to go to war.... his own father (my great grand father) was murdered when my pop was 12..so any place away from home was a good thing after his mother remarried a man he didn't get on with so at 17....off he went to war to fight for his country he was soooo very proud of.

He'd be twisting in his grave had he not been cremated I reckon.

Fought for this country we are selling off to the very pricks who tried to take us back in WWII.

Just like he said they would...they have, are taking us another way.

Neither Gillard or Keneally have any place in this country, much less our government.

They are treacherous scum....and so is Rudd.

*wretches*

Obama is another mongrel, who should be exterminated.

So there you have it, now you know why I hate this government so much...they have desecrated mine and other Australians relatives service legacy with their treacherous malignant UN-Australian bullshit.

They make me sick!

My grandfather hid under dead corpses (his deceased mates) and lost both his legs and ended up a very damaged man, and for what?

For this malignant red commie slut to destroy the nation he fought tooth and nail to protect from the Japanese in PNG.

Gillard putting the "UN" in un-Australian, quite literally.

Little girls dressed in their prettiest frocks walked up to him with big bunches of flowers and said "These for you Mr Australia"....before they pulled the ring from the grenade .....he saw it happen to a mate, so he ran ....(the little girls were killed) he escaped with facial shrapnel scaring, was one of the lucky ones, or was he?

I remember him sticking his head in the oven when I was a little girl threatening to kill himself (was a gas oven)... nan would be screaming, he left nan when I was 6, for her sake, and the family's... he knew he was too damaged to remain in the family unit dint want to put us through what he had failed to recover from so left.

He loved us so much he left us for our own sake.

He used to play this song on the jukebox at a local RSL club, on the central coast where he moved to....

"Come away Melinda" - The song I was named after.

Sounds a lil dramatic?

Perhaps...

But it's nothing compared to what he gave up (including his family) for his country he loved so much (he was such a patriot), so we would all be safe, and be able to call this country home, with or without him.

What was the point?

He lived, served and died in vain...it seems under this disgraceful Labor government and it's UN order of evil dictators.

Who's country is it again?

An overwhelming majority of Australians (78%) support the UN Resolution 1973 to implement a 'No Fly Zone' over Libya and for Coalition forces to take 'all necessary measures to protect civilians under threat of attack in Libya.' Almost as many (72.5%) support US & Coalition military forces using their airforce to enforce the UN Resolution and potentially shoot down planes of Libyan Leader Muammar Gaddafi. However a majority (55.5%) do not support Australian involvement according to a special telephone Morgan Poll taken over the last three nights, March 22-24, 2011.
According to a recent poll conducted by Morgan research.

Pity, those they polled are oblivious to the true nature of our beloved UN's & US's war crimes.

How can people make an informed decision either-way in the absence of balanced media and debate?

Sometimes ignorance is bliss... sadly for us, this time it isn't.

We will pay dearly for our ignorance, our mistakes.

It's far time people learned of the real Australia, and those who made it possible to live in the once proud nation we were just yesterday, the fake Julia Gillard aside who managed to taint a nations entire outlook within months of slaying one of her own to become our nations leader without so much as a mandate to govern.

Personally, I think it was a Kirribilli type last-ditch agreement to appease the UN who desperately wanted us to start paying them 10% of our carbon tax revenue, she was next batter up for what would be the most ill-fated government in Australian history.
