The state always glorifies slaughter of young people. that proves nothing though.
A better solution might be for Arab/Muslim states to take people so the refugee camps can be closed. Of course, the way palestinians acted in Sadam's war on Kuwait Arab countries would be even less likely take them.

There not any better Rainbow Moonlight,I want to know why the USA government do not condem Israel's action and why the Liberal party in Australia support it.
Because many in the USA government are zionists and they support Israel in these attrocities. As far as the Liberal Party offering support - they are like dysfunctional butterflies and have no idea in which direction they're fluttering. When they see how public opinion flows - they will probably make some sort of half condemnatory comment against Israel.
MORE than 100 Australian Jews have condemned Israel's invasion of Gaza, describing the action as "inhuman" and "abominable."
They include two authors and a former federal minister.
"We are Australian Jews who join thousands in Israel and around the world condemning ongoing Israeli military attacks on Gaza," the signatories said in a statement today.
"Together with Israeli peace group Gush Shalom, we condemn the current war as 'inhuman, superfluous' and 'abominable."'
The group, which includes the Australian environment minister from 1972-1975 Moss Cass, novelists Linda Jaivin and Sara Dowse and Australian Greens politician Ian Cohen, acknowledged Israel's right to protect itself.
But it said rockets launched from the Palestinian territory into Israel could not be used to justify the "grossly disproportionate military assault on Gaza," saying Israel had violated a fragile truce with Hamas in November.
The group said the Israeli attacks would not bring about peace.
"On the contrary, the assault on the population of Gaza will only inflame hatred of Jews and of the state of Israel while doing nothing to protect the lives of Israelis," they said.
"Above all, it will undermine the prospects of joining with peace-seeking Palestinians to negotiate a lasting, just solution to the conflict."
The signatories called for an immediate end to the attacks on civilians by Palestinians and Israelis.
The statement was rejected by the Australia/Israel and Jewish Affairs Council as ill-informed and indifferent to Israel's suffering.
About 84,000 Australians, accounting for 0.4 percent of the population, identified themselves as Jewish in the 2001 census.

I wonder how many Palestinians would accept resettlement to a new homeland in the centre of the United States?

Looks like mortar shells were fired from a school--and Israelies returned fire. Quite a few kids killed. So, who was the worst bastard here?

After the invasions of Iraq & Afghanistan - probably a few extremists would enjoy being resettled in the centre of the US, although I think the ordinary Palestinian would hate being surrounded by "terrorists" as they see us.

The information states that there were strikes from the area of the school - but Israel fired back specifically at the school and they were aware that there were refugees hiding there for safety. There is only a vague reference surrounding the reasons why the building blew up.
Initial investigations indicate that Hamas terrorists fired mortar bombs from the area of the school towards Israeli forces, who returned fire towards the source of the shooting. The Israeli return fire landed outside the school, yet a series of explosions followed, indicating the probable presence of munitions and explosives in the building."
If as Israel say - that their bombs landed outside the school - there wouldn't be the condemnation that is now directed at them - and there is plenty.
"It is clear that should a misfired bomb kill and injure dozens of civilians, including women and children, the U.N. would be the first to condemn Israel and accuse it of committing war crimes," Ron Ben-Yishai, an Israeli military analyst said last week. "This could also end the operation prematurely."
Let's hope so.

Could also be that those nice, civilised, caring Hamas thugs stored munitions in the school, using the people sheltering there as a human shield.

No. A top official of the UN representing the Palestinian refugees is demanding Israel show proof of this. All refugees were checked for munitions, weapons etc. prior to entering the school and according to him there was nothing fired from this UN declared safe haven school. This is the third school the IDF have blown up.
Did it ever occur to those who keep on with the same old rhetoric that Hamas uses people as shields - that all the Palestinian people are forced to be used as shields because there is nowhere for them to hide?
Perhaps you could also consider this. Since 1948 - over 2 million Palestinians have been killed in comparison to 1500 Jews. The Jews flee one holocaust and create another.
Israel is committing a crime against humanity and along with Bush, his buddies and the rest of the neocon zionist clan - I hope they're brought to trial eventually.
