Skippy .. sheesh just ignore, ignore, ignore the trolls! They talk and spread their shit on message boards as though it were their toilet.

Look .. I know it's easier said than done. At least on THIS forum we have the ignore facility (that foe button is MY FRIEND lol ).

I'm just wondering now .. is this why you were all nasty towards me when I 1st started posting here? You kept telling me to "fuck off" all the time.

I'm glad all that's changed. Relieved even.

You come with baggage, Lisa, I've seen you in action.
I didn't like the way you bitched about mantra on OZ POL, mantra is a nice person, she'd adopt a fly before she hurt it.

Skippy .. now you've introduced a completely different and unrelated issue here.

The fact is .. I had enough of HER NOT leaving ME alone. I tried telling her nicely to go away .. she didn't get it .. then I tried ignoring her .. she still didn't get the message. In fact she got worse and started bringing in my innocent family members into her rants.

That last stunt is what caused ME to tell HER to leave ME alone in a topic I started so as to get her to see I had run out of options with her behaviour.

If that is what you choose to term "bitching" .. then perhaps you should reconsider your position.

I call it defending myself.

At times .. the people we befriend on message boards do silly things Skippy. It happens. A lot.

Skippy, at least we've been able to clarify a few things here .. and good on you for being able to do that without resorting to any abuse. It's not necessary IMO .. and I believe we can achieve much more if we just speak openly about what offends us/we're not happy about IF we speak genuinely from the heart.

You know what I've noticed? A lot of the tension online (even the most severe slanging matches which have been ongoing for many years) have something in common. They began because people felt hurt and upset and they weren't able to talk about it openly/resolve it .. and as such they haven't been able to obtain any closure. So they've gone away embittered and angry. This is how online wars erupt and then their respective friends join in taking sides .. making things even worse.

Recall this "Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me"? Nothing could be further from the truth. Even the person on THIS message board who boasts being the toughest keyboard hero .. will get hurt and upset by words. It's got nothing to do with being a coward or a princess .. and everything to do with being human.

Ok .. but overall .. has your share portfolio been adversely affected by what's happening in Japan yet?
Overall, the value has dropped a few percent but when you are up 378% a few % points is neither here nor there. If I wasnt diversified and had $300k into Paladin and BHP alone and bought them 2 weeks ago then your mileage may vary.

Ahhh so you DO know wtf you're doing then IQ. Good to see.

Look .. I hail from a family ( and extended family ) where we've ONLY specialized in property (domestic AND commercial real estate) .. so basically I've been brought up within a specific/specialized investment culture.

Consequently .. when it comes to shares .. I just don't feel AS confident. If anything I feel like I'm gambling money away. And that makes me feel even worse.

When it comes to property though .. I feel like a fish back in the water. Very comfortable.

What concerns me about the latest news on the Wall Street and Tokyo Stock exchange is that we're looking at an imminent stock market collapse.

If/when that happens we're ALL going to be hit hard.

Do you not see an imminent crash IQ?

If you were so put out by mantra why did you bother to hang around here when you knew clear well that she was posting here?
You seem to rub most women up the wrong way, sappho doesn't seem to be your greatest fan either.

Skippy .. I'm seriously not interested. I'm really not. I've said all I had to say. I'm being very honest here now. This conversation is going nowhere and it's got nothing to do with DEVASTATED JAPAN DEVASTATING WALL STREET. It feels immature and childish to me. If I were 14 and this was the school playground .. then maybe I'd stay and play. However I'm 40 and I've grown up and this isn't the school playground.

C'mon .. let's see what's happening/is going to happen to stocks and shares around the globe. Don't forget .. as Aussies we have super funds and these are gonna suffer. If/when that happens .. well .. Lord knows what our Fed govt will do next.
