It was a site created by amateurs, but that's no surprise. It's a pity those who post this crap don't bother to read it first - or maybe they do and think they can fob it off as gospel.

See its posting stuff like this which makes me skeptical as to whether you attended uni at all or even passed if you did. You've posted a web page which states this with no references whatsoever. My BS antenna is further raised when the same author has links to pages on illuminati, free energy, ufos and new world order.
I studied biomedical sciences for two years at uni, the same sciences that doctors, physiotherapists, pharmacists, all para-related health care professionals study, the only difference with nurses is we stop, and those completing higher degrees keep going. I did chemistry, physics, biology, anatomy, physiology, microbiology, biochemistry) and have to say, why we had to learn grind our teeth through physics with the oldest teacher on earth, (Ok, he was about 75), with broken English just to understand simple traction (ie, levers and pulleys) will never cease to amaze me... and whilst much of the above is indeed quite far fetched, you will hate me when I tell you I had to go do a little research and there is something amongst this shit that rings true. I just wanted to see if anyone else pick it too, there is an element of truth re- the magma, I do recall having learned about this somewhere before.

Oil and gas renewable? ... well it was worked out that it would require all of Africa's agricultural lands be converted to canola/rape/mustard oil production if Europe converted to vege oil diesel.
Harvesting methane probably should be utilised much more than it is ... better to extract some energy and release CO2 than just let CH4 blow in the wind.

As for the concept of crude oil being renewable or more specific self replenishing (supposedly by speculated thermal and geo-chemical processes), first postulated by some Ruski character, due to depleted oil wells apparent spontaneous replenishment, has long been debunked by some Yank character, who discovered the phenomena was just oil from higher deposits nearby which had been missed, leaking into the depleted well.

For anyone interested in the abiotic oil debate, here's a link, it's still a little out there for some, but is it really as "Out There" as Al Gores Man-bear-Pig theory?

Both of which remain theories, nothing more, irrespective of their generic scientific consensus.

All of the above is far fetched. And your ability to just take that site and believe the shit out of it, tells me you didn't go to uni. Either that, or you were too busy smoking, drinking and on your back.

That you believe that a tax on carbon will in any meaningful way reduce carbon emissions and stop the climate changing tells me that some people don't deserve to call what they have obtained, a degree.

But that's ok, because when you tell them it's a B.A they will completely understand

Interesting I don't think I ever said that exactly. Could you show me whereby I actually said the words carbon tax would reduce carbon emissions?

Its bullshit if not used in the right way. Since very little detail has been announced on its structure and what it will be spent on, I'll reserve judgement until all the facts are out.

So you admit that you think a carbon tax will reduce carbon emissions in some kind of meaningful way?
