Gillards August 2010 media transcripts have vanished from numerous government media centre websites.

Note: For every other month in 2010, except for August, there are transcripts on their databases.

Note: She made the following statement on the 16th of August 2010, just 5 days before the August 2010 election on channel 10, was this all they were trying to erase from history's pages?

“There will be no carbon tax under the government I lead.”-Julia Gillard 16.8.2010 channel 10.

Look guys, the fact that they have erased August 2010 from a number of their government media data bases tells us something is not quite right here.

Lets try and keep this thread in tact, this is something we all need to explore together as a group, irrespective of what side of politics we come from.

If we dismiss this, then this gives the next government the right of way to do exactly the same thing.


Unbelievable~ When to think, I was sure there were 12 months in a year... or is it that Labor would rather forget about their pre-election media statements, promises, lies?

Not a month goes by without a media release, transcript or speech from the ministers. What has happened to them? Thank you.

-And did you screen save your own filled in online form before you hit send, complete with security confirmation characters?

-And did you screen save again after you had sent it?

Thank you Sappho. Most members don't bother to check the links and I admit I don't do it as much as I should - there's too many. It's the propaganda that is so annoying. Outrageous statements are made by some members which are completely unsubstantiated. The followers take this as gospel and then repeat it ad nauseum.

Those who hate this government, at least need to show a little respect for Gillard's position of prime minister alone - no mean feat for a woman in Australia.

I think you missed the point.

It's all about Abbott & his supporters declaring the Gillard government dishonest when in actual fact the only holes they can find are in the lies they create themselves. The current government is far from perfect, but they leave the opposition for dead in the honesty & policy stakes.

Propaganda works for a little while - but the unsuspecting public are finally catching on. It's a long time before the next election and Abbott's not going to make it.
