Hi, just poking my head in to check this place out..

I have come from ozpolitic, after having been eternally banished for contradicting the sites Gestapo owner I believe, well, this is what they advised in a thread this afternoon.

This site looks reasonable, though I couldn't help but notice a few similarities between the forum I came from and this site...are they linked?

Freediver hosts this site but doesn't have any input on running it (unless you count the time a complete fuckwit by the name of Aussie got himself elected as mod by other leftwing fuckwits and then got his arse kicked because they were too stupid to realise who and what they were voting for- mirrors real politcal life for them)

It's pretty much well open slather here, so you will need a pretty thick skin.

I will just add, i'm more than capable of fending off Mantra the old fluffy bunny...(ooh, I typed the norty c -word and it felt soo goood) it's just over on ozpolitic she had the advantage of the mods banning me whenever I challenged hers or Freedivers political views.

Apparently contradicting a green-left vajority is a punishable offence.

If I have this sites moderators assurance that I wont be banned whenever I challenge left political views, then there wont be a problem.

Needles to say, I doubt she will venture over to challenge me here on neutral ground, given she needs her firing squad to settle the score/debate for her.

I checked out the party linked to his site, of which he's accepting donations for.

Are leaders of defunct unregistered party's allowed to do this?

Isn't this called electoral fraud?

For contributions and gifts made on or after 22 June 2006 to be deductible, the contribution or gift must meet several requirements:
the recipient must be
a political party registered under Part XI of the Commonwealth Electoral Act 1918 or under corresponding state or territory legislation, or
an individual who is or was an independent member of or who is an independent candidate for the Commonwealth Parliament, a State Parliament, the Legislative Assembly of the Northern Territory or the Legislative Assembly for the Australian Capital Territory, and
the contribution or gift must be $2 or more and be of
money, or
property that the contributor or donor purchased during the 12 months before making the contribution or gift.

Our government really need to keep an eye on these little unregistered party's, who knows where the findings going, and or who are making donations.
