It probably is, but who knows. Only the truly gutless lurk in dark corners or use different nicks to have their say. We're all anonymous to an extent so I can't see the point of socks.
I think she posts here under another nick, mantra.
As you said on OZ POL, she knows most of the posts made here, so I cant see her having the will power not to post. She is so good at alter egos it could be anyone.

Funny you should say that Skippy - I thought the same thing myself.
Now we've only got to figure out who on this board is rude, annoying, obscene, obsessive and a master of disguise. That's going to be difficult. I think it would have to be done by a process of elimination and then see who's left

I've been stung by paper wasps so many times I'm now immune to wasp and Bullant stings, as they no longer hurt they don't worry me, so don't even bother attacking/stinging anymore.
Incredible how the body builds up an immunity to such toxic creatures. When I was a kid - I lived amongst all those insects and only ever remember getting bitten by bullants, green ants and bees. Fortunately I haven't seen these species of ants for decades, but was bitten by a bee a few weeks ago. I thought because of the years between bites that I would go into anaphylactic shock, but strangely enough the pain and redness subsided within minutes - so it' obvious our immune system can remain boosted for years.
I was also bitten by a feral cat last night (2nd time) - but didn't take any chances and rushed to the hospital for a tetanus shot.

Mellie is NOT here, under any guise. If she was, the Post count would have gone ballistic.

Cats carry Toxoplasmosis. Lethal to marsupials. In plenty of animals, including humans the parasite affects the brain.
Forget which, but a US uni tested a heap of students motor skills, and showed that Toxoplasmosis infection caused a noticable slowing of reaction times.

I especially like this section...
It has been found that the parasite has the ability to change the behaviour of its host: infected rats and mice are less fearful of cats—in fact, some of the infected rats seek out cat-urine-marked areas. This effect is advantageous to the parasite, which will be able to proliferate as a cat could eat the infected rat and later reproduce.[24] The mechanism for this change is not completely understood, but there is evidence that toxoplasmosis infection raises dopamine levels and concentrates in the amygdala in infected mice.[25]
The findings of behavioural alteration in rats and mice have led some scientists to speculate that Toxoplasma may have similar effects in humans, even in the latent phase that had previously been considered asymptomatic. Toxoplasma is one of a number of parasites that may alter their host's behaviour as a part of their life cycle.[26] The behaviors observed, if caused by the parasite, are likely due to infection and low-grade encephalitis, which is marked by the presence of cysts in the human brain, which may produce or induce production of a neurotransmitter, possibly dopamine,[27] therefore acting similarly to dopamine reuptake inhibitor type antidepressants and stimulants.
Cat ladies, anyone?

It's amazing how many sources you can catch toxoplasmosis from - aside from cats - raw meat is one of the biggest culprits. The trend now - if you ever watch these cooking shows, is for all meat to be raw. As much as bloody meat can be quite tasty, the thought of parasites is a deterrant to eating it that way.

I wonder if there's a connection.

He's the first to sniff out a sock and about 80% of the time I think he's right. Besides the only prolific poster here is Monk and he's the wrong gender.

Arrssie has been wrong far more than he has been right. As have you been.
I rightly recalled you accusing me of being Mellie at my arrival at ozpol a few years ago. Your judgement is rightly identified as flawed
Besides the only prolific poster here is Monk and he's the wrong gender.
I beg to differ. He is the biggest girl here

I knew you weren't Mellie after a little while and said so. At least I admit my mistakes which is more than anyone else does.
