Lefty, lefty, lefty. Tut tut sir! You expect names, sources, details from the OO? Slurs, misquoting quoting out of context, making stuff up out of thin air that is what you can expect from the national shit sheet.
You're right JM - what was I thinking? Our national shit sheet can always be counted on to keep us informed of current developments - even if they have to make it up.
You haven't figured out that Labor politicians are a simpering bunch of cowards who wouldn't dare speak out against the Furher on record?
But apparently they had the balls to furiously turn on her?
If it costs the wealthy person a Big Mac - why shouldn't it cost the less wealthy person a cheeseburger? This sort of levy encourages the person on a good income to look for more devious schemes of minimising or hiding their money which overall leads to less tax revenue anyway.
You're arguing in favour of regressive taxation? Slug the lower half of the income bracket instead because if the rich have to pay tax - however miniscule - they'll just stash it in a tax haven somewhere.
Wrong attitude.
This new tax is not for Queensland and Victoria, it's just to stroke Julia Taxard's massive ego in the hope that if she steals even more money from us, she may be able to get a budget surplus and pat herself on the back (assuming the puppet strings don't get in the way). She's an opportunistic fuckwad. What a loser she turned out to be.
Celly, perhaps you could email your personal details and a copy of your post to the tens of thousands of flood victims to show them what a kind-hearted soul you are.

... but Julia's flat out buying votes, so a new tax is quite nescessary ... Julia gave me $1000 because I was isolated from my property .. and my junkie cousin up north had his $800 caravan washed away, so Julia bought him a brand new $35,000 replacement .. shoulda pushed mine into the river

Yep- Another, at least $1.8bn that will be flushed down the dunny due to Labor mismanagement and waste

Please direct me to the comment where I criticised the victims of the flood and write that they deserve nothing? If you can't do that then you're simply a lying fluffy bunny. Why don't you send your personal details to every Australian who will be forced to pay a tax after donating money to help the victims? Fuck I hate dumb fucks who make childish comments like leftwanker above.
My husband and I both sent $1000 each to the Premier's appeal. I also send additional funds to a cousin who lives in Ipswich and was affected by the floods. What about you, leftwinger? I hope you did more than place a dollar into a McDonalds collection tin.
And since I don't know who the fuck you are, do not call me Celly.

You shoot straight from the lip as always Celly.
Your donation is greatly appreciated by people up here but it will take rather more to actually rebuild entire towns and their infrastructure destroyed by some of the worst flooding in the nations history. Hence the levy.
As for being childish, how does "those fluffy bunnies want me to part with a stubby of beer each week for 12 months after I've already donated, they can get fucked!" sound to you? Actually, it sounds a lot like the little tantrum you just had.
And yes, I did rather more than just drop a coin in a tin on the counter of the local Mcdoggles.
Really mate, what you're being asked to part with is so miniscule that I'm quite surprised by your attitude. The fact is the destruction is so widespread and costly that charity - while helpful and always appreciated - simply won't cover it. I would have thought that fact would have been obvious but I guess not. This is the attitude that media personalities like Kochie - despite the fact he is worth millions - appear to be promoting. And it seems his message is starting to be embraced by the public.
Bit of a sad indictment on our society.
And you do know who I am BTW.

No I don't know who you are. Why would I deny knowing you?
As for the rest of your rant, well you're the one that is saying all that. I never made such claims. Either keep to the truth or don't write anything at all. My issue is not with the people of QLD and Victoria, it is with Julia Taxard and the fact that her and Rudd's mismanagement means that I cannot trust her with the levy money. I'd want it to go straight to Bligh and Ballieu for them to manage.

I'm sorry Yogi, of course you're right - he should have been sent to the nearest homeless shelter while extra government officials were employed to scour the country to find a suitably shit replacement, instead of a new one because as we all know, money spent in a way we don't approve of simply evaporates from existence, never to be seen again.

Read what I've written Celly - charity will NOT be nearly enough in this situation. I trust you can understand that.
How do you suppose that Bligh and Ballieu will be able to raise a NATIONAL levy as state premiers? This is a situation where NATIONAL government is required to do what the states alone cannot.
How blindly do you hate an administration that you would deny them the funding to rebuild a shattered state even though the contribution being asked of you over and above what you would freely give is almost NOTHING to you financially.
To scream blue murder at being coerced into giving the most insignificant drop of blood to help rebuild one's very own country in the wake of a disaster - all because you hate a particular policy maker - is an attitude I am struggling to fathom.
And when you think about my name, you'll realise who I am.

Hmm - a musical post.
On the strength of that, I think I'll go to bed.
