Gaols? Wha?
No free will? We have more free will than any other species in the history of the planet and our own species has never had more free will. Jesus(,) people are greedy. How good does it have to get for people to stop lamenting their "lack of free will"?
1)We can travel to any part of the globe in a day or so.
2)We can choose whether or not to procreate.
3)We got the wireless broadband.
(All thanks and praise to the glory of the Scientific Method.)
How many species can tick these three boxes?
Mankind will not be free until the last king is strangled with the guts of the last priest

Sappho at least
pretends to be profound. Naffie just acts ignorant and it ain’t no act!
What a pathetic attempt at a joke, JM. Demi is your "child", what? Why don't you get a male dog? He could pass on your name.
Sappho is usually high on something or other. She is a self confessed Lesbian, perhaps the batteries ran out? I can't recall ever addressing or engaging with Sappho on any Forum or Blog. Her nastiness streak was possibly something to do with the "rags".
Profound? Is this what you think you are? You are the typical old 65 year old fart in the cardigan, living with his Mother. Collecting old matchbox toy cars and useless bits of crockery from second hand joints and the only company you have is Demi.
I find none of your recipes worth writing down and your constant spamming with links to various lefty media crap gets very irritating. You are ONE (Left) EYED. However, I will say this. I agree with you regarding the Greens. Well done.

Ethnic - we all feel differently about what life has to offer. What's good for someone to keep healthy - isn't good for another. Sappho is a thinker and I can understand why she wants to engage in a profound topic. I used to want to do the same on these forums, but know that a thoughtful response is becoming increasingly difficult to find.
LOL... you got that straight. But don't worry... I aint gonna bother. If atheism isn't futile... trying to explore that idea certainly is. There are other forums where I can be serious. Meanwhile... let's just shit on everyone! YAY!

I'll see you scientific procreation and raise you with genetic determinism.
She is a child seeking to justify her own miserable existence. I have a fulfilling life and am surrounded by terrific people and I ain't in no mood to read anymore of that idiot's dribble and vile insults.

Humans have free will - if we want to we could go and kill someone. However our free will is restricted because humans have become intelligent enough to believe in standards and structures that they insist must be reflected in our local, state and federal laws. We restrict our own free will in order to maintain civility. The restrictions of free will are in place because the majority of a community want it to be. Otherwise a community without consequences becomes a community of ultimate chaos, fear and paranoia.
I'll see you hippie free will shite and raise you with genetic determinism.

My flounces are minimal - perhaps a couple of times a year - if that.

True - we probably have more free will today than our forebears and any other species in history. I'm not complaining about the lack of it, but our will is still greatly restricted nonetheless - so much so that we're not consciously aware of it. The indoctrination of ordering us how to live is a lifelong process.

Geesus Naff, 3 boxes of fortified whine?
I was talking about family and you talk of dogs? Now I am sure you have much sympathy and similarities with dogs but we were talking about families.
