Well memorable anyway ... worst since 1942.
Yank bloke I know in a freeze over in NY state had a peak when I sent him thread link day or 2 ago.
Replied something about 'climate chaos'.
I repied back 'pretty likely'.

I've noticed in recent years cyclone season kicks in later .. hangs round 'til march-april.
So this could easilly happen again within weeks or months pretty much anywhere and/or everywhere in Qld.

EDIT ADDITION - Luv yer Tripitaka too
Legend has it the Tripitaka monk character was huge ... like 7 ft tall or sum'thn ... apparently he got mugged and left naked numerous times on his pilgramige/quest.
The Chinese form of Tripiṭaka, "SanZang" (三藏), was sometimes used as an honorary title for a Buddhist monk who has mastered all the Tripiṭaka canons, most notably in the case of the Tang Dynasty monk Xuanzang, whose pilgrimage to India to study and bring Buddhist text back to China was portrayed in the novel Journey to the West as "Tang Sanzang". Due to the popularity of the novel, the term in "Sanzang" is often erroneously understood as a name of the monk Xuanzang. One such screen version of this is the popular 1979 Monkey (TV series).
Don't know how/why the hindu Hanuman/a [monkey king {Rama's buddy}) and Vishnu's 3rd incarnation [a pig named Varaha who recovered the stolen Vedas] became part of Buddhist mythology Monkey Magic fans know as Monkey and Pigsy.

Nah, Hoppy.....this is what I remember happening in the 50's, 60's, and early 70's Obviously, this flood is huge, but remember that the records broken were set decades ago.

Three months of rain to come

The predicted wet weather has the potential to re-flood the already soaked Bundaberg and North Burnett region.

Great pictures of nasty stuff. I guess even taking them involved some risk.
