This is as big as 1942/3. ABC Radio are reporting that residents of North Bundy are being urged to evacuate, including those living in Gavin Street. The Home of my long deceased paternal Grand Mother is still there. According to Dad, the last time water got to that address was 1942/3.

I heard on the news that more than 40 houses are flood affected in Bundaberg now. Floods there are expected to peak at about midnight tonight.

I reckon 40 is being conservative. Alot of the news photos are 2 days old, the photo on front page of the (local paper) News-Mail today has got to be 3 or 4 days old.

These shots were all taken within the last hour.

Good work Yogi. It must be getting quite scary there now. What happens to the livestock? There must be huge losses.

About 13:00/1:00pm (Qld) we evacuated with car towing a tinny up Princess St toward Bagara, then got out via the new ring road to west Bundy. We're now camping in a friend's backyard at Kentucky Bluegrass.

It's amazing you could drive anywhere. You're lucky you got out in time.
