LOLZ... If I am an atheist by your standards, I'm yet to know why. And it is the 'why' questions that make for debate Dring.
Never mind.
Oh hai... my mother the catholic believes in faeries... and I mean really believes in faeries. It is the great family joke!

Does a believer in a non-theistic God, a non-anthropomorphic God, need any counselling Swami?

You are an atheist not by my standards, but by the definition of the word, and by your own words "I don't believe in god". Those words right there make you an atheist and if you disagree then you don't know the meaning of the word. You can prefix it with 'agnostic' atheist or 'gnostic' atheist if you must, but that's what you are.
The great family joke should be that she believes in god. The vastly smaller joke is that she believes in fairies.

I presume you mean a god without a special revelation. The word theism means belief in god with or without belief in a special revelation, hence Tom's 'wha?'
Yes, counselling will be required.
