Man I love absurdity.
People, corporations, institutions can lay claim to whatever they like, but they'd be foolish to think ratbags like myself would comply.
For example .. for about a decade now there's been a big push by water companies to privatise water sources.
In the places its happened the water company doesn't just lay claim to ownership of rivers, but aquifers and the rain as well. Meaning people need to buy licences to collect water on rooftops for tanks or paddocks for dams, and to extract well water on their own land.

Well I've always said if they ever buy the catchment I'm in, I'll refuse to recognise their supposed rights and when/if they try to charge me for water collected on my land, I'll pay them when they show me the documents showing Mother Nature signed the water over to them.
So as for sunrays into my PV panels, I'll pay her when she shows me documentation of Vishwa/the Universe selling her our sun.

In fact all life (except those who live on the vents at the bottom of the ocean) so more the 99.9999999999999999999999999999999999% of all life on Earth are solar powered.

Therefore all life must pay something to this woman for the right to live. The power of her sun is critical and if she was to withdraw this service we will all die. Arrrrgh. She is no my god.

Clearly the law needs to be corrected to close up this sort of loophole before some-one makes claim to something that could have a real impact on our future. i see many little wars over space turf erupting in the future (long term) if this isn't sorted. i expect it will be and it will probable after the current world ecconomy collapses and we move to a new system of world government just like Star Trek.

Just because she claims it, doesn't mean she has a legal right to it, SN.

Wont happen.

Publicity stunt.

Something needs to be done? How about nothing?

You could tax her for global warming. That would be your style
