VIC MP Helen Haines Hit by a Car
I have never heard of her before. Member for Wangaratta?
Witnesses are saying it was an intentional hit. She was getting things out of the boot of her car and was hit from behind by some nutter using his car as a weapon.
It's possibly a terrorist attack but why her?
This running down people in a car has to stop. It's a ME cowardly act that is being copycatted.
Throw away the key!

Not necessarily, this happens often and most of time is due to bad driving habits like using phone while driving or falling asleep, etc.Black Orchid wrote: ↑Mon Oct 19, 2026 7:09 pmI have never heard of her before. Member for Wangaratta?

Details are often suppressed because of PC rules, which does not help to rectify the problem.
In any case the key should be thrown away.

Apparently the driver aimed at and hit her on purpose. He did a u-turn and turned around and hit her twice. He also had a knife.
Haines has lost her leg.
Haines has lost her leg.

We need to bring back public hanging - we need law and order.

Most of us aren't savages, Bobby. What we need is to bury political correctness where it belongs, stop immigration from all third world nations, start mass deportations whether criminals were born here or not and go back to the white Australia policy for the next few decades until we get back on track.

Re: VIC MP Helen Haines Hit by a Car
BREAKING: An extremist Palestine supporter just carried out Australia’s first attempted political assassination in thirty years.
Radical left-wing terrorist and Houthi supporter Brendan Nugent rammed independent MP Helen Haines with his car, shattering her lower body and critically injuring her. She will probably lose both her legs and could still die of critical injuries.
Pray for Helen’s recovery. She is actually a progressive MP who spoke out for Gaza, yet the crazy terrorist still targeted her.
I was the first journalist to correctly identify the attacker with my midnight post last night. If we weren’t able to find his Twitter I believe that Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese would have attempted to blame this on right wingers. He would have censored all my social media pages and deleted all our accounts

Ms Haines remains in a critical condition, with fears she could lose her remaining leg.

Only Pauline is promising to do that.

He's been charged with dangerous driving causing serious injury and intentionally causing serious injury.
Ummm why hasn't he been charged with attempted murder?

Mr Nugent appears to be a prolific environmental campaigner,
posting regularly to social media about attending protests,
and he has been an active member of the group Save Our Strathbogie Forest.

Anthony Albanese has declined to explain a “dirt sheet” circulated by his office about independent MP Helen Haines just weeks before she was allegedly attacked.
The document about Dr Haines was sent from the Prime Minister’s Office to select parliamentary journalists and raised questions about her connections to recipients of government funding, according to The Daily Mail.
News24.com.au also obtained the document and published it online.
It suggested lines of inquiry for journalists, including whether she had received gifts, held business interests or had links to organisations seeking government funding, without offering evidence of any wrongdoing.
It was sent out after Dr Haines had criticised a $6 million grant
allocated to the Prime Minister’s local golf course.
Asked by News24.com.au about the document on Wednesday, Mr Albanese did not deny his office created the document — but he also didn’t apologise or explain further.
