Silver Iodine, cloud seeding has it's down-side unfortunately.

It's all very well to promote hydro-electricity as a renewable source of energy, but unfortunately these schemes have their toxic run-off ecological limitations/ consequences.

Try explaining this to Turnbull though. :roll

Hydro-electricity just can't be relied upon, we are the driest continent on earth, and unless we cloud- seed , which is toxic to humans and our ecosystem, hydro will fail.

Once you start messing with the natural order of our environment, there's consequences Algie blooms and toxic water supplies are just a tiny component of it.

They say every cloud has a silver lining, but not in this case.

The ski resorts and hydro-electricity plants are happy with it I guess so....

It's ok, the Left will whitewash it, call cloud seeding and weather modification mere conspiracy theory.

I don't suppose our weather scientists have considered that where one causes an abundance of precipitation in one place, they may inadvertently induce the direct opposite elsewhere? Like droughts?

And if they considered this, would they be inclined to act on it?

Farmland sells for a song, particularly during a drought.

China's been playing with their weather for years, going so far as to stop clouds from raining out ceremonial outdoor events.

Weather scientists are playing God, but it's not really discussed in mainstream media.

I'd cross my fingers for you if I could, keep safe, and get out before it becomes hazardous.
