ELECTION 2025

Post by Jasin » Fri Feb 28, 2025 5:15 pm

Our Political Animal Forum Election is coming up soon. Due the 2nd week of March.
As your sitting or standing EXALTED LEADER here currently.
I would like to offer a brainstorming of any ideas from anyone as to what type of Election you all would like?
I'm sorry, but I'm very open minded.
I'll start with this:

Only participating Members this year can Vote. That is, members who have contributed sincerely and authentically.
I'll ask VIC to nit-comb any socks that may not be as obvious to us, that just pop in from nowhere, if needed.
It will start with self nomination for the esteemed role of EL.
Then Members will cast their votes on their choice of Nominee.
If no-one puts their hand up, I remain EL.
To balance this, if there is a tie of votes equal to the vote counts of the current EL. Then the CHALLENGER in equal count wins.
If there is a tie between two or more Challengers, but not including the current EL.
Then I as EL must default my own vote (for self) in favour of breaking that tie for a winner from the other Nominees in tie with each other.

So let the PA 'party' begin. πŸŽ‰πŸŽŠπŸŽˆπŸŽ‚πŸŽ€πŸŽπŸŽ†πŸŽ‡πŸ₯‡πŸ₯ˆπŸ₯‰πŸ†

To balance this, if there is a tie of votes equal to the vote counts of the current EL. Then the CHALLENGER in equal count wins.
If there is a draw FD usually casts the deciding vote. Personally, I don't think there'll be a problem.

Sounds better if FD does it
