OK -
tonight I made Chicken Maryland -
cooked on the lowest heat for one hour on the smallest gas burner on my stove
with the lid on top of a pot.
I added plenty of mixed Italian herbs - 2 big tablespoons full.
It was very nice.

I dined out -
I had a beef casserole pie this lunchtime at my favorite place -
would that have been good enough for any of you?
I reckon they are the best pies in the world.

I use a slow cooker, but it's very... slow.

I just won a Coles Xmas raffle prize. I got a $30 voucher for a local Fish n Chips shop. Sadly closed now. Good until June next year.

Go for a seafood platter -
if you're lucky you'll get a scallop too.

I gave the voucher away as a Christmas present.
I couldn't see myself eating $30 worth.

Wow - $30 doesn't go that far for seafood.

Well, I've just finished wrapping the last of Santa's hoard of gifts, ( isn't easy, she's always with me lol) so for dinner, I enjoyed a cup of milk, a kitkat, and carrots that were left out for a certain white bearded inconspicuous fellow who bellows "ho ho ho" and his reindeer.

I think I'm getting too old for this gig, been doing it for 30 years now.
So beat that crap dinner you lot. If you can
