Should ASIO be keeping track of low temperature freezer purchases, ( lab/medical freezers ) and be reaching out to retailers who may have sold one to an individual, rather than a company across the last few years at least?
Particularly when the customer has purchased items with miss matching ID, or the transaction has been made from another country and items collected or even delivered to a private address?
There's just some products that are readily available to the public that I'd like to think our intelligence is keeping an eye on, for all we know, these 300 odd bio samples that went missing from a secure Australian government lab in qld could have found their way into the wrong hands.
Ok, it's likely they were destroyed by staff who were lax with documentation..... but what if they were being stored in a low temperature freezer somewhere in Australia, or even overseas?
Did we have any foreign nationals with temporary visas working at this QLD lab around the time the samples went missing?
Or is it that they aren't even sure when they went missing ?
I'm guessing the later.
We are a global embarrassment.

Yep.
This is how it starts.. ASIO will be occupied with trying to protect the Jewish community from random attacks and putting all their resources into putting out spot-fires, meanwhile something more concerning is potentially brewing, or multiplying perhaps even.

Like all public sectors, they're grossly under resoursed, and it's very difficult to detect and prevent biosecurity threats at the best of times.
It's been over a year now, and they're still none the wiser.
Hundreds of deadly virus samples are missing from a laboratory in Australia, the Queensland government announced on Monday.
"The government has instructed Queensland Health — Australia’s public health department — to launch an investigation into what’s being described as a "major historical breach of biosecurity protocols," according to the online media statement.
It was reported that 323 vials of multiple infectious viruses — including Hendra virus, Lyssavirus and Hantavirus — went missing from Queensland’s Public Health Virology Laboratory in August 2023." - Fox news

It's become apparent that comrade Wong has not a scrap of regard for Australians sense of community safety and needs to be benched or at least brought to task by the leader of the ALP ( what's his name again?) for her ongoing support and sympathetic tone towards nations who house and financially support terrorism.
She's made things rather awkward for us all here in Australia, placing Israel in the same basket as Iran, Russia, China. Rebels who have zero regard for international law.
Can't have an individual who's radically caught up in her own views being our foreign affairs minister.
She's supposed to be representing Australia, not herself,
and be guided by what's in our OWN nations best interests first and foremost, not be guided by her own personal views on what's happening elsewhere. She's behaving more like a dissident journalist than a foreign affairs minister, which isn't part of the job description.
She's probably trying to impress the UN council, ( Is likely job seeking as we speak) but I don't think anyone's impressed really, not even Palestinian protesters who really couldn't give a shite what she thinks, and even the UN has more class than to appear overtly biased and subjective like this.
It's throwing fuel on the fire and it must stop.
