Damn - you need Netflix to see it.
Starting in just over one hour.

15th Nov 2024.
Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul live updates:
Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul fight rules
Two-minute rounds.
Eight rounds.
14-ounce gloves.
Ring walk, full card, how to watch Netflix fight
ARLINGTON, Texas — The slap heard 'round the world struck Jake Paul on the left cheek Thursday night.
Mike Tyson whipped his open-palmed right hand across Paul’s face at the weigh-in before their wild and weird and puzzling event.
Tyson vs. Paul.
In a boxing ring.
At midfield in AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
Based on social media reaction, the slap fueled excitement but also speculation that the fight is less than legitimate. But there’ll be no slapping when the gloves go on during an odd pairing.
Tyson, the 58-year-old former heavyweight champ, will be fighting as a pro for the first time in almost two decades against Paul, the 27-year-old social media sensation.
Netflix will livestream it to 280 million viewers.
A crowd of about 70,000 is expected to watch it live.
It’s only a matter of time before we’ll all know: What comes after the slap?
The undercard has begun. Follow along with USA TODAY Sports for all the developments from the undercard, to the walk-ins to the fight.
Starting in just over one hour.

Re: Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul today
I'm a bit worried about Mike -
he is putting his life on the line to a guy less than half his age.
https://www.foxsports.com.au/boxing/mik ... ac6b360612
It goes without saying that a prime, 1980s-era Tyson would almost certainly have dealt with Paul within a few minutes.
Does he retain enough residue of the talent and destructive power that made him the youngest heavyweight champion in history in 1986, at the age of 20 years and four months? Bob Arum, the legendary 92-year-old boxing promoter who has seen it all, is unequivocal.
“The answer is no,” Arum told Secondsout.com last month.
“A 58-year-old guy, no matter how good they were, no matter how athletic they were, are not gonna be able to fight.
“You can’t throw punches like you’re supposed to, you can’t do a lot of things. I hope Mike doesn’t get hurt, but I really give him relatively no chance.”

Look at those great combinations in his training.
Tyson looked good in training but what happened in the fight?

Funny, I texted a mate in Aus and said "It was piss poor"
It was just back to the bank. A waste of time, Tyson didn't even have a real go.
I have been so busy, I never get time to play here anymore.
Enjoy.

They got paid tens of millions and that's probably what they wanted. Tyson has squandered and lost hundreds of millions over the course of his career so he'd better hold onto this purse because he won't be getting anymore.

Tyson is punch drunk like most other boxers.Black Orchid wrote: ↑Mon Nov 18, 2024 3:17 pmThey got paid tens of millions and that's probably what they wanted. Tysons pot use for so long showed easily. He was mentally and physically debilitated by it. Doing 6 months training doesn't hide the affects of it. He was enfeebled by hesitation on everything and is no longer fluid in his motions. I think JP was even embarrassed.

But why did he look so good on the training videos prior to the fight? -Jasin wrote: ↑Mon Nov 18, 2024 5:56 pmTysons pot use for so long showed easily. he was quick, his feet moved to take up many positions - good footwork -
he did many combinations of 2, 3 and 4 punches in a row, -
he put his legs, hips and shoulders into powerful blows - total body/arm co-ordination -
we saw none of that in the real fight.
if I would have paid $1000s for a ringside seat I would have felt ripped off.
