You're right there Tllwd. Though I've always wondered if there were major differences between the so-called 3 major waves of migration into Australia?
The oldest being the Tasmanian wave, where the looked almost like Papuan with maybe Denisovan admixture as Papuans have 9% Denisovan.
The not as old, Murrayan wave, who looked very wavy haired Caucaucasoid.
Then the most recent, up until 12,000 years ago Carpentaria wave and more Indian looking. Which also introduced Dingoes and the Didgeridoo (6,000 years old).
