Nibbled some chips and greens from the Staff Bowl while finishing my restaurant stint dishying, etc - earlier
Now I've got sticky fingers from coating 6 table tops with some weathershield clearcoat, after I had re-invigorated them with a good sanding.
Don't know what I'll have tonight with sticky fingers?
Mellie's looks nice. But I don't have the patience to cook mash potato.
Anyway, I'm still feeling full after experiencing a thing called 'exquisite Tuna' by the new Head Chef. Apparently its an Australian style of doing Tuna and from what I tasted (texture, etc) - I'm . Better than anything Nihonese style, from what I've experienced. If I'm given more clarity on 'why' it is, I will let you all know. All I know is that its an emerging new popular style in Australia (by Australia). Felt like I was eating gold mixed with diamond.

It's easy to do - I use Photoshop but "Paint" also works .
Microsoft Paint is a free program that comes pre-installed with every version of Windows operating system.
This means you can access it without any additional costs or downloads.

This sounds interesting Jasin, I watched a really interesting way a treasured Cantonese Master Chef cooked Sweet and sour carp very early thismorning on I think either SBS or Food channel with Adam Lau. Only issue I had with it was that it was carp, you know those introduced pond fish you see in Chinese restaurants aquariums, only these were from the restaurants own natural spring-fed pond on premises.Jasin wrote: โSat Nov 09, 2024 3:52 pmNibbled some chips and greens from the Staff Bowl while finishing my restaurant stint dishying, etc - earlier

It kind of stood upright on the plate like a bazaar spiky sea creature, very creative, but for me it would need to be an ocean fish like snapper, or something. I'm not a fan of pond scum eating fish, just the thought of it makes me a little squeamish.
Doesn't feel clean.
We just had riggatoni bolognaise, my daughterโs friends are here, and it's easier , and less messy than cleaning them and my dining table up after spaghetti.

I'm on my phone, as I am most of the time I get the chance to post here, as my daughter scampers off with my laptop and tablet for her friends to game on when they have these little gaming parties together lol.
I'll give it a try next time when the kids let me use my own devices.
Actually, they're creating avatar's and animation ( like dance clips and cartoons out of their game avatars) video clips today. They don't all bring their own devices, so mine get used as spares. Lol
One day I'll be allowed to use my own technology. Lol

OK - I hate using my mobile for most internet work -
I wouldn't even try with photo processing.
I like my desktop and it makes mobile phones look like a toy.

Jasin, I wouldn't be bothered cooking for myself either if I had your job. Yum, chef quality meals each night. A friend of mine is a chef, and his favourite food is simply jam doughnuts, he is crazy about them. Probably for the energy I guess.

I use my phone because I can escape to my bedroom away from the noisy girls with it and it's comfortable watching Netflix on and basically, I can always see when friends/fam are trying to nag me.Bobby wrote: โSat Nov 09, 2024 6:22 pmmellie wrote: โSat Nov 09, 2024 6:04 pmI'm on my phone, as I am most of the time I get the chance to post here, as my daughter scampers off with my laptop and tablet for her friends to game on when they have these little gaming parties together lol.

Re: What's for dinner?
I use both phone (home) or the (secret) establishments computer... mostly Saturday arvos for an hour or two after my Sat restaurant dishy stint.
Carp is ok and Carp fed in 'clean' conditions are healthy, sure - but a bit bland, pending on what they are fed.
The Carp that the State governments and Fisheries are trying to convince people to snack on and help eradicate from our waterways are very 'muddy' in taste due to the nature of our muddy looking waterways. Sure, they're eating all the natural stuff and not fed grain pellets (bland), but our muddy waterways seem to marinate them a bit yucky. So healthier, than farmed Carp, but yucky tasting.
If we had waterways like NZ for example. I have no doubt Carp would be a more respectable taste.

Re: What's for dinner?
That's right. You gotta pummel the muddy taste out of it with heaps of lemon juice and other potent ingredients.
Not really a 'truth' about Carp and it's natural taste now, is it?
